Just an informal poll to gauge which way the wind is blowing in these parts. Please write in your pick in a post if you choose the write in option. Choices listed are in the order I remembered them, hope I got all the main theories.

This is a life or death decision Mojo! This choice could haunt me for years! I could not imagine going out in public if I voted poorly in this poll! The humiliation ahhh!

Eh, it doesn't matter. GRRM is the only one who knows for sure.

Sadly, I honestly don't think I have any idea anymore. Gut feeling was always RLJ, but others make sense as well. I'm really looking forward to getting into all of the essays. And, for purely selfish reasons, after some recent comments seen elsewhere, I almost hope RLJ isn't the outcome...
Why must I always be the isle of crazy alone in an ocean of sensibility? The should to everybody else’s shouldn’t? The I-will to their better-nots?

Goodness, sounds like there is a story behind that

I feel ambivalent about this. I think either way, if RLJ is true or not, there will be a funny shitstorm somewhere. I would like it to be a surprise, though. If it is RLJ, not as simple as people make it out to be. Even better would be RL= Danny, and another combo for Jon. It would be correct to assume a Rhaegar Lyanna affair, but Jon wouldn't be a secret Targ.

I think I'm just cranky tonight. Just don't like it when people are rude to others for no reason. The way this series is written, I'm sure there will still be plenty of surprises left. At least I hope so. I just don't understand how some people can be so certain of the outcome of a book that hasn't been written yet? (We don't have a dunno emoticon do we?) Half the fun is considering the possibilities...

A little bit, but probably more me overreacting. Someone was mean to SlyWren somewhere else and for some reason it just really bothered me... It's all good.

I hear you, and I wasn't disputing what you said at all. There are overconfident and condescending Jon Snow theorists everywhere- anyone who claims their answer as fact is full of hot air in my book. Ideas are fun to speculate about.

I saw that, too. I had to . I don't like when it happens to anyone, and Sly Wren is polite to everyone.

Hard for me to choose between N+A=J and A+L=J. I picked NAJ only because I just did the essay thing for the project. But really, Arthur seems just as likely to me. That brothel chapter still negates RLJ for me, and I'm seeing Jon wielding Dawn. No one else makes sense as the Sword of the Morning.

Yep. That's why I think it bothered me so much. C'est la vie, I guess...
I will say that she handled it much better than I would have. ::thumbs up::
