Celebration of Game of Thrones in the 2016 Emmy Awards!
Red Carpet Coverage beginning at 4:30pm EST on E! and ET. Regular Red Carpet Coverage begins at 6:30pm EST on ABC with the awards ceremony itself starting at 8pm EST.
Lucky for us, People Magazine has already published an Unofficial Emmy Drinking Game for us to use! See the rules below...
1. When a pre-taped segment starring host Jimmy Kimmel starts, you have until the end of it to down your drink.
2. Sip when you see a Game of Thrones actor laughing – and take a shot if they claim a statuette.
3. Sip if a speech makes you teary-eyed or someone cries while giving a speech.
4. Sip if you spot one celeb whispering to another.
5. Married people take a sip when someone thanks their spouse.
6. Take a shot if a first-time nominee (like Tom Hiddleston, Rami Malek, Kit Harington or Ellie Kemper) wins.
7. Sip every time a presidential nominee's name is dropped.
8. Sip every time Kimmel makes fun of a friend.
9. Everyone under 40 (but older than 21, of course) take a shot if a former child star wins.
10. Clink glasses with everyone in the room and then sip if a Netflix show wins.
11. Sip when anyone laughs at his or her own joke.
12. Sip the person to your right's drink if The Affair wins.
13. Finish your drink if Julia Louis-Dreyfus wins outstanding lead actress in a comedy series (again)
Why must I always be the isle of crazy alone in an ocean of sensibility? The should to everybody else’s shouldn’t? The I-will to their better-nots?
Lady Dyanna , just noticed there are two different threads for this. Should we merge them?
Hmm. I didn't think of it that way. The first was the announcement. This one was meant to be the actual thread for people to chat in if they didn't want to use chat.
I'm open to suggestions...

Oh that makes sense. Maybe move comments from that one over to this one then, and lock that thread so folks don't accidentally use the announcement thread? I may not be able to use the live chat myself because it's football day.

Priorities Voice! Football season is every Sunday for months. Emmys are only one night out of the year!
I made it a whole board. I'll put it under season six when all is said and done...

I just tried to watch it live streaming; only available in the US
