I will be really upset if the final season leaked already. Have the fun with these stories is trying to figure out which direction the show is going and the motivation of the characters. If the scripts leak already all that is left is to criticize the final product...
The 8 leaks are not true. They were just finished and they have extra security.
I also think even the S7 leaks were HBO directed. Because Actors said how strict they were with the scripts. People had to sign lists when they got a copy and they were not allowed to take them home. It is strange that the 7 leaks were online - and still are - for such a long time. It was a directed hype for publicity I think. 7.7 leak might be even fake, for a great twist.
I don't buy the "HBO intentionally leaked season 7" theory. They stuck a ton of money into this season, and didn't need to leak everything to bring more attention to the show.

Just making my way back to this thread in preparation for this final episode of season 7, and I have to say, the spoilers you two have shared seem VERY likely after episode 6, SlyWren and sohialo. The version in the quote above seems particularly likely to be legit.
Agreed.
At this point, I've no idea what to expect.
I will say that Friki's gotten stuff wrong this season: dialogue. fairly important plot points/ details:
IE: he missed that Jon kills the Walker and all the wights die. Let alone Beric's speech. He did speculate that killing the Night King would kill all--but seemed to make it clear he was guessing. Skipped right over the confirmation. Seems like a fairly important factoid.
I really think he's mostly just filling in the awayforthelad's spoilers.
And they are . . . sparse on the Jon parentage reveal.
But I honestly have NOOOOO idea at this point.
And--looks like I'm unlikely to be able to watch it with you all tomorrow. Probably can't; watch it until Monday or Tuesday. No idea if that' good or bad.

This is reassuring, but I wish it were to a greater degree. That version seems to fit awfully nicely with the googly-eyes we've seen in eps 5 and 6, and some of the details are clearly spot on. The dragon pit in the ep 7 preview confirms quite a bit of the intereactions detailed in the spoilers... or at least, confirms their plausibility. Not sure if that's a thing, but you know what I mean.
I think we're looking at a show that began as an adaptation of GRRM's wonderful novels, and has become an adaptation of our theories from the past decade.
Given the vast quantity of source material of a very specific sort

NOOOOOOO!!!
What is it? Friends? Ditch them.
Vacation? There's always next summer.
Family? Start an argument over politics or religion.

1. I do know what you mean.
2. The dragon pit details are mostly in the original awaysforthelads leaks. If you are feeling obsessive, you can check them out from the link in the OP. Thus--almost everything in Friki seems to come from those leaks.
3. But the original awayforthelads leaks are sparse and equivocal about names and what Lyanna actually says.
"And who are the record keepers of Westoros? The Maesters. And who is now getting training at Old Town… in close proximity to the libraries and records?"
"And if we find out next season that Rhaegar's marriage was annulled? And that Jon is a true Targareyon? What then?"
"Varys doesn't want the throne. He's genuinely acting out of a desire to have a king or queen rule that will look out for the interests of the people of Westeros rather than just their own. He still could put an Aegon on the throne in the show… I'm saying maybe there's someone on the show with that name already… what do you think Lyanna whispered to Ned?" green-chili.blogspot.de/p/episode-707.html
The italics and bold face are my doing--no idea if awayforthelads is using the "Socratic method of spoiling" (trying to get us to "discover" for ourselves), playing coy, or making reasonable assumptions. And Friki has filled things in--as shown by his getting a number of things wrong despite the leaked outline.
It sounds . .. . hole-y to me.
Yes--I need therapy.
And yes--whatever they put on the screen tomorrow--just going to enjoy it. That's the whole point of all of this anyway. Theories and debates and all the rest--the whole point is to have fun.
Targaryen thing to do. The only thing a Targ luurves more than turning the world to ash is riding family members. Gross, but true.
Amen. Break out the popcorn. One way or another, it should be gorgeous spectacle.
