Well the Giants are basically the size of Titans. I don't see why the Others couldn't raise the corpses of dead giants. There isn't a lack of them if you believe the songs of the Wildlings.
A wighted giant would be a fearsome thing, especially since we know how hard it was to stop Othor and Jafer, two mere mortal humans.
Wraith I would say the manga art got better with life! I believe Giants in the Free Folk song and tales of cannibalism, or those who wake from the earth doesn't refer to giants like Wun Wun, but to Greenseers and CotF, and I think Tormund stayed with CotF and not a Giantess.
stdaga Lannisters are related to drowning but they seem to drown people instead, but if Grey King and Garth's hair were not naturally green then the dye will come out right? Or maybe the sigil will be changed to green like you said. Is it possible Ironborn started to live in different islands after occupying western most point of Westeros, could they leave traces on the three islands named after Aegon and his sisters? A hint of incest are always possible, and a hint to Lys, Tyrosh and Myr? Is Myr an Island? Or is there a third Island that is overlooked to draw a parallel?

Well, that is interesting, the idea that we do have at least one Lannister putting (or ordering) someone in a well to drown them. I have never thought about it before, but that is a very Iron Born thing to do. Are there more than just the one young boy of House Tarbeck? This rumor is something that Amory Lorch was said to have done, and it seems he has been Tywin's scapegoat more than once.
You are right that green dye would/could wash out, but for some reason in my mind, I have always thought that Garth Greenhand had naturally green hair, and that other's used the green dye to emulate him. But that might not have been the case. And I still have doubts on the hair color of that Sunderly sigil since it's not specified in the text, but if it is golden blond, then perhaps it is a hint of something to do with the Lannisters.

What three islands are named after Aegon and his sisters? Is this the Fire and Blood information? That would have happened long after the conquest, not before it, so I don't know if that truly has anything to do with the history of those places. And are far to the south, south of Old Town, I think. And those islands are said to be uninhabited, so just serve as an honor the Aegon and his sisters, and they also seem to mirror the hills of King's Landing, another honor to Aegon and his sisters. But that doesn't apply to the past in Planetos, as far as I can tell.
I do think the Iron Born could have lived on the coast before being pushed to the islands, or that the islands used to be part of the coast, but the sea has risen and left only islands in their place. That could explain the land bridge and the stepstones, as well. A great flood with waters that really never receded. I have also wondered if the Iron Born didn't come from the west, from the sea or lands that lay to the east of Asshai or the Grey Waste. If the Iron Born were pushed from the Western coast of Westeros to islands in the sea, could this have been when Lann the Clever took over Casterly Rock and it's lands? Perhaps Lann usurped and sent many people that were there before into a type of exile. It might explain the animosity between House Lannister and the Iron Born. They seem to be long time enemies.
If Myr is an island, it's unclear. It appears to be on the coast of the mainland, and there is no word that it's an island city. Still, I suppose this could be left vague on purpose. Two other of the free cities which are islands, besides Tyrosh and Lys; Braavos and Lorath. Myr is said to be where a dragon road that lead to the sea ended, and there are certainly dragon hints about the city and it's people. There are some hints about the first people of Myr, a now vanished people that are said to have disappeared during the Dawn age and the Long Night. Could these be the Iron Born? Or the First Men?

You are right about Garth's hair, if he was a God Emperor, people will dye their hair in his honor so the Sunderly sigil can change.
Island information are from F&B I think Elissa Farman names them, if IB come from west then they will pass by these islands. But they were south of Old Town, then IB ending up living on islands after a flood makes more sense, I think Hammer of Waters performed on Moat Cailin may affect west coast and seperate IB from Sea Dragon point?
Currently Myr-ish people seem to be Andals and Rhoynar, but FM could always live there.

I guess it can go either way with the hair. A god could have green hair naturally, or he could also dye his hair. Either way, people would probably want to emulate that color. It reminds me of the conversation we had about Tyrosh and it's proximity to Greenstone off the coast of Westeros and how all that green could relate to one another. Recently, I have been also thinking of Greenshield, on the opposite of side of Westeros, in the Shield Islands. The "green" hints have to be connected, and might even connect to the "green men" on the Isle of Faces and Howland Reed. I just realized that Greenstone has a Velaryon connection, which could be interesting, and probably from around the time of the conquest.

Yes, I believe we get the information that Elissa named them. There were three islands, all with tall mountains, but one was taller than the other two, so it mimic's King's Landing and it's three high hills. I am sure that was Elissa's inspiration in the names. Although since she sort of shit all over Rhaena and stole dragon eggs, it seems rather odd that she would name more islands in honor of the Targaryen conquest.

Myr is a slave city, although I don't know that really matters in trying to figure out the past, but for some reason I don't associate the First Men with slavery, but I might be quite wrong about that. It's said, it's slaves are collared and branded, so if slaves from Myr are branded, would they brand a child that wasn't really a slave, just to make that person appear to fit in? I don't know but Dany shows no signs of branding as far as we know. Myr is interesting because of it's glass hints. Luwin uses a Myrish lens to help him see better, Lord Harlaw also wants a Myrish lens to help him read, and Jon focuses on the quality and expensive glass that comes from Myr. I am not quite sure why that stands out to me or what the connections might mean, but I will keep thinking on it. Men there are also rumored to fight with poisoned weapons, and poison usually makes me think of Lys (the Tears of Lys) and not Myr. Oberyn Martell traveled in Essos and learned of poisons, but which city did he learn the most in. Thoros is from Myr, but I guess if he is a slave, he might have been born elsewhere and taken to Myr. Is Thoros branded? Fire certainly connects back to branding, but fire always makes me think of Valyria.

If you are thinking about Varys in last part, then I don't think he was branded, I actually don't think Varys is from Myr but Pentos as Illyrio slips up and says they were both green boys there. Could the name Brandon have a hint to brandind as well? Is this a hint to FM slavery although as we know Free Folk and Dayne's on opposite side has problems with kneeling, maybe there is a subtle hint that Starks have some unknown Andal connection during pre-conquest time?
Is it possible for me to talk about AoT again? In AoT humanity lives inside three walls built by a king to protect them from the Titans, Walls are even being worshipped in recent times, then it is discovered these walls have titans inside them and the walls are made from the same material as titans, the King who built the Wall turned humans to mindless titans and then trapped them, later bonded rest of population to him sending them the idea that they are the sole survivors of a tragedy and they will be safe inside and made them forget the Titans exist. I wonder what it says for our Wall?

I had not been thinking of Varys, but if his back story is in any way accurate, he was sold while in Myr (even if he was born in Lys) so he might have a brand of some sort. He is usually pretty well covered and the most skin he reveals in face neck and hands. No skin to show scars or not. I was thinking mostly of Thoros, or even Dany. Dany shows no signs of branding, but I suppose Thoros might under his red/pink robes. And the information on Myr is vague about where people are branded or what kind of brands they might be. Our information off the tattoo's from Volantis are much more thorough.

I don't know! That Brandon possibly being branded is a really interesting idea!!! I have sort of become tied to the idea that the Brandon's and Bran are related to the idea of Bran the Blessed and the Mabinogion. Brandon in old English means "from the broom hill", but in Irish, it's meaning is more interesting. It's means prince or king, it can mean brave and the form of Bran is associated with raven or crow or "little raven" in Welsh/Irish. I can't find any correlation that connects the name to branding or being branded or even a fire brand, but it's possible that GRRM is using it in multiple ways. Perhaps Bran needs to be burned (horrible thought)? I have always found the imagery of Bran in the crypts when Shaggy attacks Luwin and Summer comes into to stop Shaggy and the torch is dropped by Brandon's statue and burns up his leg as quite purposeful, especially since the imagery around Brandon's death is strangling while Rickards in being roasted. I think there is some meaning in that imagery that GRRM gives us in the crypts. No fire falls on Rickard or Lyanna's statues, and they are quite close together, I think. I picture them in a cluster but that might not be correct.

How do the walls work in Attack on Titan? Three lines of walls or like a circle fortification? Because Qarth is a city that is surrounded by three walls, and that has always seemed symbolic to me, especially since one wall is made of grey granite, just like Winterfell.
"Qarth is the greatest city that ever was or ever will be," Pyat Pree had told her, back amongst the bones of Vaes Tolorro. "It is the center of the world, the gate between north and south, the bridge between east and west, ancient beyond memory of man and so magnificent that Saathos the Wise put out his eyes after gazing upon Qarth for the first time, because he knew that all he saw thereafter should look squalid and ugly by comparison."
Dany took the warlock's words well salted, but the magnificence of the great city was not to be denied. Three thick walls encircled Qarth, elaborately carved. The outer was red sandstone, thirty feet high and decorated with animals: snakes slithering, kites flying, fish swimming, intermingled with wolves of the red waste and striped zorses and monstrous elephants. The middle wall, forty feet high, was grey granite alive with scenes of war: the clash of sword and shield and spear, arrows in flight, heroes at battle and babes being butchered, pyres of the dead. The innermost wall was fifty feet of black marble, with carvings that made Dany blush until she told herself that she was being a fool. She was no maid; if she could look on the grey wall's scenes of slaughter, why should she avert her eyes from the sight of men and women giving pleasure to one another?
The outer gates were banded with copper, the middle with iron; the innermost were studded with golden eyes. All opened at Dany's approach. As she rode her silver into the city, small children rushed out to scatter flowers in her path. They wore golden sandals and bright paint, no more. ACOK-Daenerys II
This description has always seemed quite specific. Red sandstone with animal scenes and a gate of copper. Grey granite with scenes of war and a gate of black iron. Black marble with erotic carvings and a gate studded with golden eyes. I guess it doesn't specify what the gates are made of, just how they are decorated, but I think GRRM was quite specific in picking his descriptions for Qarth. And the red, grey, black symbolism of the wall colors is interesting, because it reminds me of Ghost's eyes and Jon's colors of grey as a Stark and black for the Night's Watch.
Ned tells us that black and white and grey are all the shades of truth and he says this while sitting on the throne in the Red Keep. Jon also has a bit of text, when they are leaving on the ranging north, where there is a line of black brother's and the sky is grey with clouds and a streak of red sunlight under the clouds. On Jon's first sighting of Mance, Mance is noted to be grey haired and draped in a black and red cloak. Jon also has a moment where he see's the wall go "from red to grey to black, from streaks of fire to rivers of black ice." There are other combinations of those colors, but they also include other colors such as green or white, and I was just looking at those three colors in isolation (the Ned quote includes white, but that shades of truth line seems quite important). I don't know if it means anything or not.
How are the titan's trapped within the walls in AoT? Imbedded in the actual walls or just trapped behind them?
Their father understood as well. "You want no pup for yourself, Jon?" he asked softly.

It does get better on that I agree. Also I know that some people are immediately turned off by art that doesn't meet their standards. Also the anime adaptation is just that good.
Also I agree on their being different types of giants.
How are the titan's trapped within the walls in AoT? Imbedded in the actual walls or just trapped behind them?
I'm not completely caught on in the manga so I could be wrong if anything has changed. Basically someone controlled the giants to form up and use an ability to create the wall around the giant wall titans. Then the Titans basically when inactive.
Also I am very agreeable to starting a AOT thread somewhere else and we can continue to discuss the series. IT would give me a reason to catch up on the manga. Also the season 4 of the anime has a new studio that looks even better.
Darkstar will be the next Vulture King.
Craster has 19 daughters and there are 19 castles on the Wall, coincidence I think not!

Oh yes Thoros is never mentioned to be branded, Daenerys too but she wears a collar for her marriage.
Stark fire hints seem to begin with the founder, Rickard burned and Rickon might be in a volcanic place, is it possible swords taken from the crypts caused winged Snake to be freed? I know Eddard and Rickard's swords were taken.
AOT walls are circeling the city like Qarth's they are named after three daughter's of Ymir the first shifter, Maria, Rose and Sheena(?), the last name is a form of Joan, inner most city is home to government and royal family but no men can enter there. It is possible Qartheen first build the bronze gate, the largest one with many animals, something happen to cause them to live in a smaller area and they built Iron gate which has war scenes and last has golden eyes of CotF, there could be a pact that caused them to lose lands?

Isn't there an area over here for different shows? It seems like a good idea to start a thread that does pertain to this subject, if someone wants to start it. I can't promise I will get involved with the series, but I would be interested in reading the idea's on the thread.
Their father understood as well. "You want no pup for yourself, Jon?" he asked softly.
Oh yes Thoros is never mentioned to be branded, Daenerys too but she wears a collar for her marriage.
I always thought that Dany's collar was related to her "slave" status, not just in marriage, but in life, but also tied to the customs of Pentos. Although just a glance at the wiki says that Pentoshi slaves are collared and branded as same as custom in Lys, Myr and Tyrosh. I also wondered if the collars are something that the Dothraki do to their slaves? As far as we know, Dany has no brands, and we have been in her head enough that we should know this or not. Thoros might be and we just haven't been told. I don't think Thoros has tattoo's that we know of either.
Stark fire hints seem to begin with the founder, Rickard burned and Rickon might be in a volcanic place, is it possible swords taken from the crypts caused winged Snake to be freed? I know Eddard and Rickard's swords were taken.
I don't know how far the fire hints go back with the Stark's but I think heat references go back to the building of Winterfell, so probably nearly the beginning of the Stark's. The fire might be tied to heat and go back to the beginning. The First Keep of Winterfell has gargoyles and gargoyles on towers seem to be tied to dragons in this story. The First Keep is old, the oldest standing structure that remains at Winterfell, so that could mean dragon connections/fire connections go back a long, long way with the Starks.

It's possible they built the outer wall/gate first, then the inner afterwards. With Winterfell, it seems it's the opposite though, with the outer wall being built after the inner wall, hinting at their area growing, not decreasing. And also another barrier of protection, which might be what Qarth did as well. I think it could go either way.
Their father understood as well. "You want no pup for yourself, Jon?" he asked softly.

It's possible they built the outer wall/gate first, then the inner afterwards. With Winterfell, it seems it's the opposite though, with the outer wall being built after the inner wall, hinting at their area growing, not decreasing. And also another barrier of protection, which might be what Qarth did as well. I think it could go either way.
So in North, Starks were winning before the pact but in Qarth people were losing, but isn't First Keep and Storm's End round? Shouldn't they be build later when Andals arrive?

We do get that information that the First Men built square towers and round towers didn't come along until the Andals. Yet, we have several quite old structures that are round, such as Storm's End and the First Keep at Winterfell. I find myself curious about the Hightower in Old Town. The base is described as square but the actual tower lacks description. Is it round or square? It's described as stepped, but does that hint back almost to the stepped pyramids of Essos or something different. Anyway, I think some round towers are quite old, and maybe were built with a technology that was lost, hence the reason the First Men reverted to building square towers again. You raise a good point though, and besides speculation, I don't have any answer.
Their father understood as well. "You want no pup for yourself, Jon?" he asked softly.
stdaga, elifsu, Qarth is important i think . How was the city able to withstand the Freehold ? I read it may have something to do with tourmaline being resistant to fire but i am ignorant on the topic . Maybe Dany grew up there ? They must have lemoms LOL

Or Andals hide their early arrival, I also love to suspect Nymeria directly sailed to Dorne from Rhoyne and the petrified ship at the Sunspear is hers, and she had an army with her not civilians. So my thoughts are speculation too, maybe Twow will clear things for us.
