I like some people have a lot of crazy theories about ASOIAF. I will probably never get around to writing them all but at least GRRM is giving me more time until Winds gets here to prove me wrong. Also I know this group won't judge me too much for these crazy ideas. ::: Also note I don't believe all these to be true but have found things in the books that make me think its possible.
Let's start with Dorne:
Marwyn has been working with the Martells for awhile. I think he may have even gone overseas with Oberyn during his "exile." Well for part of the time at least.
Marwyn is the secret love child of Lewyn Martell and his paramour Olenna Redwyne.
Olenna may have been working with Doran for some time. Mace has no clue and is too busy riding the lion.
Darkstar is secretly Jaehaerys, son of Aerys and Rhaelle. Smuggled to Dorne to keep him away from Aery's madness. Weaned on venom indeed.
Darkstar is the actual "Viper" that Doran has been hiding. He is working in secret for Doran and will soon become the next Vulture King.
Doran's master plan, I have a thread on this but I really think there is far more going on with the Dornish revenge schemes than what has been revealed so far. He is a schemer on par with Varys and Littlefinger but keeps his cards really close to the chest.
Riverlands:
I can't help but think that some male members of House Darry are still alive. Raymun goes out of his way to help start a war between the Lannisters and the Starks. I think they have gone underground like so many of the smallfolk. Also this would have helped with the Darry Frey rivalry.
I think the Old Lord Darry is the new High Sparrow. It is seriously not Howland Reed. He is using the Faith Militant reborn to gain vengence and is working with the BWB. The difference between a Sparrow and a broken man is a seven pointed star.
The Elder Brother is Jonothor Darry or maybe Lewyn Martell but likely Jon.
Lem Lemoncloak is Ser Richard Lonmouth.
Greenbeard might have some connection to the Archon of Tyrosh. He is one of the few Tyroshi with green hair. Both the daughter and brother of the Archon had green hair.
Vale:
I think Lord Baelish had some kind of training from either the Iron Bank of Braavos or the Faceless Men. He is far too knowledge in both poison and finances to not have some kind of connection.
Baelish will be using the armies and resources of the Vale to first secure the Riverlands and later the North. He will help destroy House Frey to help win over both the Riverlanders, Northerns, and Valeman.
He will attempt to ally with Dany or Aegon. Basically whoever ends up victorious in the South.
Baelish doesn't want to be King but rather the Hand of the King, or in this case Queen Sansa.
Well that's enough for everyone to stew on. If you think any of these are interesting let me know and I can tell you more. I just don't have the time to write all these out but I think it would be fun to discuss my insane ideas with you wonderful people.
