I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that. I was starting to worry that if I mentioned it someone might say: "Oh that's Harry Lloyd's scar from such and such."
Small council table does not even have a seat for Robert now. Or is it Stannis.
Ned never talked to Robert about the Hand's tourney?
It is very blurry, but Im so glad that LF is using an actual medieval quill instead of a feather... most of the vane is shaved off. This is the only time I can recall in pop culture where they have done that. In HP movies for example, everyone used the whole feather.
1. No seat for Stannis.
2. In the books, after the incident at Darry, Ned and his family traveled ahead of the Royal Family and with as much distance as possible. And the news about the Tournament came from Renly & Ser Barristan who had rode to Darry and talked with the party before the whole Lady debacle, before returning to King's Landing.
Siege of Pyke ok, why so much background information on the Greyjoys.
aww poor sad Jaime having to listen at the King's door
lol Khaleesi "You have no right to a braid, you have won no victories yet"
woah Ros does so many things in show story. Tyrion, Sam, Theon and Jon all talk about her. Is she even in the boooks
Ooh the eating Sam thing was probably inspired by Gulag prisoners escaping with an edible prisoner or "cow" for an assured meal in the Siberian cold
Isn't it a little obvious when the mountain kills Jon Arryn's squire that something wrong is going on
LF voice is in it's full glory when narrating the story of the mountain and the hound. One of my favorite sequences in the series.
1. Because they need to establish Theon and why he's at Winterfell if he isn't a Stark and he isn't a servant.
2. He's being a dick about it anyway, so com ci com ca.
3.
4. Yeah... she doesn't exist at all in the books. And IMO if she had been gotten rid of, Jeyne Poole could have taken her place in Season 2.
5. Mayhaps. It's a show addition.
6. And yet no one says anything...
7. Honestly it would have been better saving that for later, when he breaks down in front of Arya in Season 4 he essentially admits it then, and saving it for then would have been much more powerful.

I like that there are two versions of the same story, one told by LF and one by the Hound himself. But, do wish the version told by the Hound had gotten more footage.

Exactly why I think not having LF here should've been the case as the Hound's version was the one that deserved more. LF's explanation could have been a more summary & cursory version with less time and build focused on it.
