Petyr is made out to be less manipulative than in the book. In the book, Petyr comes worrying Ned about Robert fighting in the tourney, while having to string Ned along to the conclusion he wants him to come to.
Meanwhile here in the TV show Ser Barristan simply casually mentions it, and Ned comes to the conclusion with little difficulty.

I love the interaction between Robert and Ned in this scene both in book and show--you really get to feel the friendship between the two, and just how Robert could be seen in not so negative a light--something the rest of the fandom seems determined to do.

And seeing Theon's dick really makes the scene in Season 3 when Ramsay psyches him out about eating sausage (or is it dick?) sem ludicrous. I mean Alfie doesn't have anything to be ashamed of--but I'm sure Theon knows that his sausage isn't as big as what Ramsay was holding up.
We have visual proof of it here in Season One.
Since this is the only dick we get a full on shot of, the fact that it'll get taken away from Theon makes it a kind of character to get to know that'll be "important" later on.
