Robb and the Mill. In the books we get the difference between a public and private convo on this topic--painting just how much manipulation can occur even within the Stark camp.
A common interpretation I've heard argued was that Robb simply wanted to pressure his uncle to not act without his accordance (keep him in line, so to speak). Another theory was the whole pressure Edmure into marriage of the Freys early on. And yet another doubted that Robb's stated plan of drawing the Lannisters into the West would have ever worked in the first place--because Robb would have trapped himself in the West.

Ahh, yes, the chair scene. First I want to say just how much moving the Small Council to the Hand's chamber (or what Tywin has decreed is the Hand's chamber) changes the dynamic of having the Small Council meet behind the Iron Throne (like in the days of Seasons 1 & 2), but also it really shows the power plays and stations of all the characters as they hunt to find their pecking order.
