Definitely. This just makes me lean towards a non-magical Aegon, which doesn't sound like a prince that was promised. Cloth is something Varys can tailor. Fire isn't.

Honestly, from my reread I'm starting to suspect that GRRM really means to make Dany AAR and that all other attempts to try and NOT make her AAR by pinning it on Aegon or Jon or Stannis is just people spinning their wheels.
This doesn't mean that AAR is going to be the savior everyone thought they'd be for centuries IMO, but Dany is it, of that I'm becoming pretty much convinced in my re-read.

Oh definitely, I completely agree. It's very scattered, but the landscape is covered in such clues. I see her more as the prince(ss) that was promised though, and that R'hllorists (like Moqorro) are attaching their inaccurate oral histories to her.
