Its on again, much is well watch it again. Sad that Edd is the only one of Jon's boys alive that is still on the Wall. Jon Snow dies and everyone gets smart all of a sudden.
Or can anyone else see any hint that Mel will perform a ritual from this episode?
Nope. If anything, this episode seemed to serve the opposite purpose. It revealed she's been blowing smoke this whole time. Mel = the opposite of the fountain of youth. Unless she coughs up a sorcerer's stone from her lower lips, I'm not seeing how she can wake the dead.
Thankfully, I think Jon is still only mostly-dead.
But it's also one big upside of the episode. Edd rocks! As does Davos. And Ghost is absolutely fabulous.
Plus, one of the guys sitting by Thorne (officer whose name I seen no reason to try to remember) was actually shaking. Should have thought of that sooner, oh nameless officer beard man, huh?
I missed the beginning but the west coast version starts soon. voice, how were you watching, anyways???
Shhhh.
Nah, on the left coast we get ur Eastern Zone channels in addition to our own... and HBO happened to have a free preview today. I'm going to have to order it because there's no way I can wait three hours for a Pacific showtime.

It's like Jon Snow was sucking up all the intelligence among the other characters up for himself. The greedy bastard.

I did hear that they were doing that this weekend. SMH. I guess if I have the west coast channel the west coast would have the east coast version too. I'm wondering why I ever bothered to DVR.
Why must I always be the isle of crazy alone in an ocean of sensibility? The should to everybody else’s shouldn’t? The I-will to their better-nots?

ETA: if my boss joins he needs to pretend he didn't read that. Cough cough Steve. Stop lurking.

You know what, I feel like that Brienne/Sansa/Theon/Podrick scene needed to be at the end of Season 5 if anything, putting it here feels like this story line is lollygagging behind the others.
voice,Just watching last season's recap. Septa Unella wore a skin right dress for the walk of shame too. I'm guessing that your eyes were elsewhere diverted.

Beats the "we hired a great actor for Dorne and then had him bleed raspberry sauce in death" move, so, why not?
Though, on that note, at least Siddiq no longer has to listen to inane dialogue. Huh. . . am now wondering if he was sick of it and asked his agent to price him out of the show??
Hate to say it, but I'd almost rather he stayed dead.
Yes, watching Jon all season with glowing blue eyes would be. . . .annoying. Though I could see the books doing it--even though I just wrote and posted my theory that Bran's the next Symeon Star-Eyes. Jon would work, too.
No, but she is hitting bottom. She might regain faith just in time?
No--the more I think on this, I'm thinking Jon's "resurrection" will restore everyone's faith. Very New Testament. Though. .. does that make Mel Peter? No, can't be. Davos is Peter. Mel can be Judas.

Also best wishes to Fat Walda, I am sure Ramsay isn't going to kill you and the baby.
No. They'd never kill her... They just dedicated 20 minutes out of a 40 minute episode to how Ramsay feeds his dogs woman meat... and about 3 hours last season about how fat and meaty Walda is...
Later during the fight: The Hounds disappear... or run off like bitches. Probably with a bark of "Fuck the Bolton's."
I was thinking the same thing. Waht aboot tha viscious houndz???
Which were bloodhounds btw. Some of the most lazy, docile dogs you will ever meet. They were more likely to fall asleep than attack Theon... which might explain why they disappeared...
She speaks flawless Dothraki. GRRM hinted that the Khal they killed in Season 1 would be important again later on, and I think we see exactly where he's important. That Khal sees Dany as Drogo's Khalesi in Book 1, and he sees her again in Book 6 quite clearly. The fact that the show killed off that Khal shows that they had to cover their asses.
Yup.
Covering their asses seems to be the gameplan right now.

Or at least explain how they survived the jump from the Wall.
Tyrion makes a excellent point. The Slaver's Cities have no valuable resources but slaves, now they don't even have that. Oh and disrupted the slave trade of the known world and Dany wonders why she has so many enemies.
What are Jorah and Daario doing in Rohan? Jorah must be part elf. Rolled a natural 20 on that search check for the ring. A ring of power no doubt.
Nice Daario call back to Brown Ben Plumm.
Darkstar will be the next Vulture King.
Craster has 19 daughters and there are 19 castles on the Wall, coincidence I think not!

Yeah--really seems like they are setting Jon up to be the thing that renews all faith. Which is. . . .oy. Okay.
It's like Jon Snow was sucking up all the intelligence among the other characters up for himself. The greedy bastard.
Well, when he's not so bright himself--mediocrity attracts brilliance? Someone should use that as a campaign slogan.
