That image is just wrong. It's from Ghost--which means Tormund should be in Ghost while he engaged in eroticaceramica.
Admittedly, my fan fic erotica is not entirely canonical, and I do formally apologize to both the Ghost Fandom and the GoT Fandom. I am not as adept as you are in the field of facial expression interpretation, but even I can see that Brienne looks unhappy about doing this scene. I'd like to pretend she is overcome with emotion and passion, but I can't. She looks pissed, or at least, detached. Tormund looks determined and his intentions may be genuine, but unfortunately, I think that pottery wheel is only spinning away from him, rather than toward.
In defense of erotica ceramica, I would only point out that D&D are doing the best they can considering the novelization of the show is behind schedule. And, for reasons I will never understand, it seems GRRM is destined to neglect the Tormund+Brienne saga in the Winds of Winter. If they must bridge the gap by using filler from classic romance movies, then in this case... I support that decision.
I can only hope that A Dream of Spring is dedicated to their POVs, and theirs alone, in order to match the awesomeness and majesty of the televised original.

All art is at once surface and symbol. Those who go beneath the surface do so at their peril. Those who read the symbol do so at their peril. It is the spectator, and not life, that art really mirrors. Oscar Wilde.
