3/9/2017? I hope so. Then I'll only have been off by 2 years. Also it's only 6 months away. That's not too depressing.
The comment shortly after on his Not a Blog was not so optimistic. It asked about the possibility of him attending a con next summer. His response was probably not, that he wasn't accepting invitations to any new cons until after completing WoW.
Why must I always be the isle of crazy alone in an ocean of sensibility? The should to everybody else’s shouldn’t? The I-will to their better-nots?

I don't understand how it is possible that, as of last winter, he still seemed to think he could get it out by April (before Season 6), and now, 9 months later, he thinks it will be another year!??? I wish he would just publish whatever he does have completed, so we have SOMETHING to read.
Also, I think it's official that the 5-year gap and Meereenese knot were nothing but excuses. Neither is in play anymore, and still it's going to take him over 6 years to write one book - a new record, even for him. Ugh! Ok, rant over.
“In Qohor he is the Black Goat, in Yi Ti the Lion of Night, in Westeros the Stranger. All men must bow to him in the end, no matter if they worship the Seven or the Lord of Light, the Moon Mother or the Drowned God or the Great Shepherd. All mankind belongs to him... else somewhere in the world would be a folk who lived forever. Do you know of any folk who live forever?”

And to think, he still has 2-3 books to go after TWOW.
I am the hybrid prophesied to return to Westeros.org and stand in its ashes.
Oh you sweet summer children! Yer still falling for amazon placeholding dates? Is this aDwD (a Deja wu Delirium) all over again?
And Bryndenfish is Adam Whitehead 2.0: Lots of ominous, pseudo-rational *predictions* and *interpretations* with a hit rate of...zero. Yep. 0 for whatever he wrote in this direction. Just like Adam. You might as well try to read the entrails of a doorknob and you´ll get equal, if not better results.
Amazon France will publish it en français in march next year.
At some later date, it will be translated in english, just have a bit of patience.
"Arya did not dare take a bath, even though she smelled as bad as Yoren by now, all sour and stinky. Some of the creatures living in her clothes had come all the way from Flea Bottom with her; it didn’t seem right to drown them."

Patience? PATIENCE???! No, I will quit my job and spend the next 8 months learning to speak French.
