My thanks to Armstark and this thread asoiaf.westeros.org/index.php/topic/133193-westeros-woman/ for alerting me to this area of exploration.
Or, perhaps, my apologies to Armstark. . .
We've all discussed the text of the books many times, debated canon and semi-canon many times. But I think there's a part of the canon we've failed to explore fully: anatomy.
If you look carefully at a map of Westeros and squint (George doesn't do obvious), you will notice it looks something like a kneeling pregnant woman. If you squint a tad harder, you will notice that, if she's turned towards you, the God's Eye could be one of her breasts. And, to get really "deep" into the reading of the text, looks like Starfall is between her knees.
The implications are myriad: Westeros is "nourished" by the God's Eye, Howland "suckled" on its wisdom. And, since Edric Dayne and Jon are milk-brothers and Dawn looks like milk glass, clearly the God's Eye has a larger role to play in the next Sword of the Morning.
Which seems to clinch the issue: Jon was born at Starfall and needs to go to the God's Eye to get Dawn--that's why Howland's been AWOL. Heard rumors of walkers and went south to get sword. Now hanging out with green men buddies on God's Eye until Jon gets there. That's just science.
So, my question for this thread would be, what do you see when you look at the anatomy of Westeros? Or of the Westerosi? Or people/places connected to Westeros? Remember, the text is canon. The map and people and places are canon--so, please analyze them all with the care and respect they deserve. For science.

Please feel free to post further points of reference on anatomy of people and places related to Westeros.
