I've been wondering if when they say "mother of dragons" they are also addressing her by name before they say child of three, child of storm, etc. rather than only meaning she is all those things.
So you have the "three heads has the dragon" being the "child of three": child of storm, the daughter of death and the slayer of lies.
I don't know if she has to kill them (take their heads) or become their ally.
I know having "the bride of fire" at the end messes up my idea, unless it pertains to Dany.
Child of Storm - Jon Daughter of Death - Arya Slayer of Lies - Jamie or Sam?

I edited my post because my thoughts never come out on the page as they do in my head. That's why I've always stayed a lurker.
How about she was born because of the actions of the 3 you listed?
I know the timelines don't work, but I'd like her to be Weasel's/Lyanna's Other baby. W+L=D lol!
Not original to me, but I think it points out that one of her supposed parents, isn't. For example, Tyrion is the child of Johanna, and (Aerys)and Tywin; Jon is the son of Ned and his birth parents; Dany is Aerys and Rhaella's child supposedly, buuut if the lemon tree was in Dorne, maybe she was Aerys and Ashara's, and smuggled in (black sailed ships) to suppliment the heir-pool after the queen dies in childbirth.
I like the three parents ideas, especially with the timelines being so slippery--who knows for sure who her parents are? Viserys' story is weird--he was just a kid himself. Who knows how much he got right?
Out there idea--Stark kids bonded to wolves. Dany bonded to her "children"--if they are he and she is them (as the Starks are with their wolves) does Dany also become the Child of 3 Dragons? Meh. . .
All art is at once surface and symbol. Those who go beneath the surface do so at their peril. Those who read the symbol do so at their peril. It is the spectator, and not life, that art really mirrors. Oscar Wilde.

One of my pet theories is that Rhaegar and Rhaella are Dany's parents. Aerys Rhaella and Rhaegar. Dany could be a "child" of three.
i'm on board with "child of three parents", with "parent" being open for interpretation as I suspect that somehow or another one person involuntarily "parented" by acting as a blood sacrifice.
Here's a stretch: Dany fell third in line to her father's throne in actual succession: After Aerys, Aegon VI, Viserys and then Dany...this of course doesn't work if Gregor killed Aegon even slightly prior to Jaime slaying Aerys, though. But me thinks Aerys died first.
Like silly putty, it's that stretched.
She's the third generation of inbreds from Jaeherys to her.
