Hmmm. For me it's child of three parents, gods, incarnations, et al. In essence, the 'of' means derived from.
Three parents: Rhaella, Aerys, Ashara. I'm digging that. Child of three gods: Meh. Facets of the girl: Queen, Khaleesi, Dragonlord/goddess (Surtr). OK....
Or one could get super philosophical and deride that the dragons made her, not she the dragons. Then, she is the product of her three dragons.
I have 5 sisters, so I would say I'm one of six. I'm a child of six....so Dany should have 2 siblings if she's child of three. Aerys and Rhaella are said to have three offspring: Rhaegar, Vicerys and Danaerys. That's three.
Well, geez, that's an awfully mundane explanation. I expected more from you, Mel.
Why must I always be the isle of crazy alone in an ocean of sensibility? The should to everybody else’s shouldn’t? The I-will to their better-nots?

But would you phrase it like that? I have a brother and a sister. I'm 'one of three', not a 'child of three'. The phrasing 'Child of three' essentially means, to me, 'product of three'. 'Three' produced her.
Or we can take a cue from @prettypig and take a look at some Marvel characters. For example, the Scarlet Witch was able to conceive twins with her husband Vision who was an android using accumulated magical energy. Unfortunately the energy was pulled from the soul of the demon Mephisto. So, theoretically her boys were the children of three. That is until they reverted back into fragments of Mephisto's soul and ceased to exist.

Oh, you can most certainly head back to Marvel and get an answer that makes sense....and funnily enough, the Scarlet Witch is involved but only peripherally. :::

Yup. Simple. And makes the most sense to me. Still...

I also agree with this. Dany is by no means simply "a child." So while I think this simply means she's one of three children, and agree with Mel's example, these additional layers of meaning cannot be discounted - particularly when considering the adjacent lines.

Well, yes. In your own example "one of three" it is the same sentiment, you've only replaced the the more specific noun "child" with a more general one, "one".
To all of your points above, the preceeding line is "mother of dragons". Does that mean the dragons produced the mother? Well, yes. Yes it does. Dany was not a mother before them. Remember, she chose not to be a mother in order to save Drogo's life. Unlike the noble Lilly Potter, who sacrificed her own life so her son could live, Dany threw her child at the feet of death, and begged him to spare her Khal so she would not have to join the crones of the Dosh Khaleen.
So, she only really was transformed into a "mother" in those flames. She emerged like a boiled egg, and had just cracked three.
Hold the phone, Aerys and Rhaella had more than three children...at least according to their family tree on the wiki. The wiki shows the following: Rhaegar Shaena Daeron stillborn Aegon Jahaerys Viserys Daenerys That's 8 kids....hmm
That does complicate things a bit. Some of that may be ole Yandel at work, but some must be in the text... must check for still births and other sibs....
"I can see it. You have more of the north in you than your brothers."

But hey, if Dany isn't actually their daughter, that puts Aerys and Rhaella at magic number 7.
