Wild Card Children: Aegon and Edric Dayne and X+Y=Z

I have searched all five books for info the parents of Edric Dayne, and he listed in DoD as:
"Edric Dayne, Lord of Starfall, Squire to Prince Doran"
As for Aegon, Varys states in the epilogue of DoD that this son of Rhaegar and Elia lives.
Perhaps this has been discussed, in terms of how this relates to "Who's Your Daddy?", but I think these characters are a factor in the X+y=J and X+Y=D equations.
BTW, I really appreciate the creative, out-of-the-box, lively and respectful discussions here. I never could embrace the W board.
