And the buck starts here, yes it's 3:30 am on the East Coast, I've had a few whiskeys, but I don't work tomorrow, so ginnysredhair & voice I'm starting my HP reread, so I figured I'd start the first thread.

“Never forget what you are, for surely the world will not. Make it your strength. Then it can never be your weakness. Armour yourself in it, and it will never be used to hurt you.” ― George R.R. Martin, A Game of Thrones
My family bought me the set (the boxed set - you know, in the hogwarts trunk? hard-covers?) for christmas a number a years ago. I've read them all about 6 times, now. Then came the cursed child. Borrowed it from a buddy of mine, then bought it. I've only read it twice, but then again, I've only had it for a few months.
Have you seen Fantastic Beasts? imho, the best movie yet. Of course - the main characters were all adults, dealing with adult problems/issues, instead of kids dealing with pre/adolescent issues, so that might be part of my reaction. Whatever the reason, I thought it was awesome. Now I've got to buy that, too. maybe next month, when I have a little more money on hand...
