Will be a happy if it makes the play format even a little more popular. Was reading it as a book, a movie and as a school performance interpretation all at once. Book 3 was my favorite book, and felt the series went downhill after that. This revisited that time in many ways. It was like inception and butterfly effect of book 3.

It would make a great movie though slant. Totally agree. Someone, was it pieceofgosa? was recently laying out how you could tie in the new movie that's coming out with the start of the Wizarding War. Cool stuff.

New here, so just came across this thread. I thought the cursed child was outstanding - the only thing I did NOT like about it was that it wasn't enough - perfect for a stage performance, true, but there is SO much that can be done with those two boys, and with their families, that she could fill a number of movies with it all.
Fantastic Beasts was fantastic - imo, it was the best movie yet.
