voice, I need to this your theory on this madness.
My theory on Aerys' madness?
Don't have much of one, I suppose. A lot of Aerys' paranoia seems justified to me. He was right to wonder about Rhaegar's loyalties ("changes will be made") and right to mistrust Tywin, who were the two most powerful men in his inner circle.
But beyond that, maybe being around wildfire for prolonged periods of time can lead to madness the way mercury poisoning does.

Tyrion and Jon aren't even in the same Generation.
Tyrion's Part of the "Rebellion Generation" Either old enough to have participated or (for younger cohorts like Asha) remember and have either the Kingswood Brotherhood's Rebellion, Robert's Rebellion, or the Greyjoy Rebellion as a formative part of their childhood/coming of age.
Long Summer Generation (b. 280 - 297) Brienne of Tarth - Osmund Frey
Tyrion is born about 9 or 10 years before Jon. Unless you want to argue that either Joanna lived in Dorne in secret all those years, or Lyanna got pregnant before she hit puberty, I think the whole "same mother" idea is bunk.
Just because you're paranoid doesn't always mean you're wrong!

I'm so tired I think my eyes are bleeding. I am wrapping up another episode but I'll probably dose off and hibernate tomorrow

This episode had really grown on me. I really like the additions/changes for once and Robert is simply awesome.
Now that I've gotten past the excellent acting aura of the Lannisters, I can also appreciate how perfect Varys and Littlefinger are in terms of casting, writing, and acting.
And I really miss the gravitas of people like Sean Bean and Ser Barristan. Is there anyone left that warrants that kind of respect?
