My first guess is Prince of Ghost. My second guess would be ole serduncan, but that's like cheating because Dunc is so many people he can easily fill up a forum all by himself... I've heard there's even a forum dedicated to mourning his legacy. The interwebs are truly dark and full of terrors.

cecily ,voice ,shymaid ,DarkSister1001 ,Mojo , any theories on where Leyton Hightower is now and why he freaked out in 289? did he find out about Aegon and Jon conn?
First, the text, and then my foolishly mundane tinfoil.
The tower itself has always intrigued me,
Who built it? When? Why? Most maesters accept the common wisdom that declares it to be of Valyrian construction, for its massive walls and labyrinthine interiors are all of solid rock, with no hint of joins or mortar, no chisel marks of any kind, a type of construction that is seen elsewhere, most notably in the dragonroads of the Freehold of Valyria, and the Black Walls that protect the heart of Old Volantis. The dragonlords of Valryia, as is well-known, possessed the art of turning stone to liquid with dragonflame, shaping it as they would, then fusing it harder than iron, steel, or granite.
Yes, I confess I'd love to visit Old Volantis before its probable destruction in the revolts and up-risings on the horizon.
The reasons for the abandonment of the fortress and the fate of its builders, whoever they might have been, are likewise lost to us, but at some point we know that Battle Isle and its great stronghold came into the possession of the ancestors of House Hightower. Were they First Men, as most scholars believe today? Or did they mayhaps descend from the seafarers and traders who had settled at the top of Whispering Sound in earlier epochs, the men who came before the First Men? We cannot know.
The first "high tower," the chroniclers tell us, was made of wood and rose some fifty feet above the ancient fortress that was its foundation. Neither it, nor the taller timber towers that followed in the centuries to come, were meant to be a dwelling; they were purely beacon towers, built to light a path for trading ships up the fog-shrouded waters of Whispering Sound. The early Hightowers lived amidst the gloomy halls, vaults, and chambers of the strange stone below. It was only with the building of the fifth tower, the first to be made entirely of stone, that the Hightower became a seat worthy of a great house. That tower, we are told, rose two hundred feet above the harbor. Some say it was designed by Brandon the Builder, whilst others name his son, another Brandon; the king who demanded it, and paid for it, is remembered as Uthor of the High Tower.
Are these labyrinthine foundations a true labyrinth or simply a complex floor plan? GRRM doesn't make it easy to tell.
Now for Lord Leyton.
To be sure. Lord Leyton's locked atop his tower with the Mad Maid, consulting books of spells. Might be he'll raise an army from the deeps. Or not.
This bitter assessment by the Cinnamon Wind's captainbreaks the spell of Lord Leyton. We're reminded of the rumours, travellers' tales flying about Westeros, some with a kernel of truth, some not.
More or less since the tourney at Lannisport in 289, Lord Leyton has been reclused in the tower. Why?
At another tourney, that of Storm's End, he was unhorsed by Ser Barristan. We're not told if Lord Leyton suffered any lasting damage, as did Merrett 'The Branded' Frey after a blow from a mace.
My own tinfoil is that Lord Leyton is crippled by migraines and similar disorders and tended by his daughter. I wonder if Alerei couldn't tell us more.

voice, cecily,Mojo, does anyone have a theory for Tywin having something to do with the death of Steffon and his wife? a friend on reddit thinks Tywin may have went to the Iron Bank to persuade Volantis not to provide a wife for Rhaegar so Cersei would be the choice by default?

No

The suspicions appear to be based on the rumours the Mad King planned to destitute Lord Tywin as Hand. Still, 'Shipwrecker Bay' seems to have earned its name long before the Baratheons existed. I find the idea Tywin could raise a storm rather endearing.
Wraith,Mojo,DarkSister1001,voice, voice, voice,I think neds fever dream is the implanted memory from whoever tampered with him at TOJ. The dialogue rings false to me But who has this power to repress his memories. No weirwood network in Dorne so that rules out Bloodraven. I am thinking Marwyn if he was Rhaegar's maester at Dragonstone

Why don’t you either register and join, or add to the discussion where other well intentioned posters attempted to help you answer your questions?
I think it’s because you have no intention of joining nor any intention of discussing your ideas.
I assumed you would eventually grow tired of trolling the guest thread, so I was patient, but since you keep coming back and roping people in, I’m dropping the ban-hammer on you.
If you were not a previously quarantined member, as we suspect, you can still register and post in the common threads. Guest Thread isn’t meant for long term use to avoid registration.

"Arya did not dare take a bath, even though she smelled as bad as Yoren by now, all sour and stinky. Some of the creatures living in her clothes had come all the way from Flea Bottom with her; it didn’t seem right to drown them."

Mojo ,I apologize for not accepting your invitation to join right away. I did not want to use my work email and I have not memorized my personal email because I never use it LOL. Sorry for the confusion. I joined last night so I hope you will see fit to lift my ban. I am new to the internet and am a bit of a luddite when it comes to technology.
Hi, Have there been any discussions about the possibility of time travel in Arya XII ASOS? I had hoped to find an explanation for the color and weather inconsistencies there, but found nothing yet.
How's it goin folks. Onrack here from IWC? as well as Cosca from other places. Was here briefly at one stage. Feeling nostalgic at the moment. Anyone else around? Only realised recently IWC got taken down, real shame that, an archive of insanity. Don't suppose anyone gathered anywhere after
