I especially love how he ties it into the larger problem at the end:
D&D rewrite the characters to suit the actors' emoting abilities. So when an actor is in a non-verbal scene and making faces... we know why D&D put them there, because they think the actor can do that emotion well and they're trying to force them to do that emotion again and again.
I.E. that whole "Sophie stares blankly while Tyrion talks to her in response to her mother's death scene" was intended to be a display of her "acting".
Also, that ending speech for Stannis would have been a lot better and made up for some of the issues (though not all of them)... but they cut it. They fucking cut it!

Well I finished it and just wow. I have spread the word as best I can. I always disliked D&D for my many perceived shortcomings but fuck I have no idea how bad it was. I haven't bought any DVD/Bluerays since the the second season since I have been disappointed with them. I almost want to get them just so I can hear these idiots in real life.

I'm about an hour in and my first question: "Mark is that you?" LOL! Beginning in Season 4; the whole things feels like a promotion of celebrity as if this is what makes the world go around with a certain age demographic. It doesn't have to make sense; it just needs to wind up the fetishists and celebrity worshippers to hook an audience.

I started watching GoT from S1 and I quit into S4. I just didn't like it.
I watched the video and think the creator could have made the same point with the same impact in half the time. That said, I was riveted by the subject of cold reading and how it's used in communications.

Oh I agree and he seemed to dip back into his previous videos (that I will probably end up watching). He definitely has done his homework on the topic but he needs to stay on target.
