I'm glad they decided to put the Ayra scene in the cold open. It wouldn't have worked anywhere else the way it was shot with no previous set up. It would have looked completely an ass-pull. I know, the first vid already criticizes this, but as a cold open you are not required to do a proper set up, it is supposed to be a set up for something in itself: Winter has come for House Frey, the Starks are coming for revenge, the North remembers --- spread the word! Sure, the message got lost in translation and no body knows how or why the Frey died but that's besides the point...

It was an extremely satisfying opening in any case.
