I actually came here looking for WeaselPie's interaction with GRRM about whether the WB is canon. Because I am in a PM discussion with Werthead about RLJ. Unsurprisingly he explained it to me as if he was talking to a child who had never heard of the theory before.

The position that only the books are canon shouldn't even be controversial on a forum called Westeros...but I could have sworn I found the link here for them last year. Melifeather says that they are only an email (but I could have sworn they are actually NotABlog responses). And I could have sworn I found discussion (here on Last Hearth) of them and the shitstorm they started on Westeros and how Elio had to grudgingly change the WB to semi-canon on Westeros.

Anyway, here's to hoping I can get help in that search and that the links posted in this thread still work so I can journey down that rabbit hole for awhile 😎
