Yeah sooo coool Okay, The Hound is shown next to the thing he fears most - Fire, so think he will be made to revisit situations that are close to his childhood trauma Qyburn seems to have built his own undead army, or whatever The Mountain has become, because all the other soldiers at Casterly Rock are wearing similar helmets The Golden Company is coming to Westeros, if they are as fickle as they are in the books, they may change allegiances Tormund and Beric survive, which is awesome! Kind of knew they would, but good to have confirmation. But a little worried about what happened to his hammer? Disappointed that they could not find the budged for Direwolves even in the final season. Like, come on. Really hope Nymeria shows up before the end. Where is Dorne? And Theon? Fear many things will just be overlooked - eg: Dawn, the red comet (hope it comes again) and all the prophecies.
Here it is! Any thoughts? I have a few but I am interested to see what other people think!
I only read one leaked S8 script and then avoided any further spoilers for S8. But now the trailer shocked me a bit since there are 3 scenes in it that were also in the script I read. And it was brainbending stupid. I hope so much that I am wrong. Otherwise we will get 6 episodes of "Beyond the wall" quality.

Qybern's undead army of kingsguard? Dressed in black armor! I did roll my eyes at that.
I totally missed that was the Golden Company on those ships and was calling "buullll shit" on the Iron Born in such an organized fashion. Still, not super impressed.
Not at all surprised to see Tormund and Beric. Or Gendry! No signs of Asha/Yara, however.
Direwolves!!!! Don't get me started! Pretty irritated not to even get a glimmer of one in the trailer! If Ghost doesn't get a scene, I will spit on Dave and Dan! Seriously!
I have given up hope on any sort of real closure of the book story from the show, so things like Dawn or the Red Comet or the concept of Azor Ahai or the Last Hero will do doubt remain unfulfilled. But yippie to Rheagar and Lyanna sitting in a tree, K-I-S--S-I-N-G. Blech.
But for the good, it looked pretty well shot and the CGI looked good, as usual. Besides some costuming choices, I couldn't really complain about the flashes that we got. It's the story that I am worried about! Not too, worried, though, since S7 killed a lot of my expectations. But I am curious enough to watch it, even if I have some reservations.
Their father understood as well. "You want no pup for yourself, Jon?" he asked softly.

I have tried hard to avoid any spoilers this season, since I thought it might help my mindset. Last season I read everything that was leaked, and could not imagine THAT was the true story line, and then when I watched it actually unfold, it was beyond disappointing. So, what you describe has me worried, not that I had very much hope, but I do hope it plays out better than S7 did. That felt so uncomfortably like a trainwreck happening right in front of me.
I am hopeful for well shot scenes and pretty spectacular CGI. I have less faith in the story itself. What worries me from this trailer is a heavy feeling of the Battle at Helm's Deep. I don't want to see that. I have already seen that, and Peter Jackson did it well. It will be hard to watch a rip off of that! And that is sad, because I am sure the cast and crews worked terribly hard to film this mega-battle the show is promoting.
And I don't know why, but I was annoyed to see Dany in the crypts! And that is really kind of petty of me, since in the books, it would not surprise me to find that Dany has a connection to the crypts.
