Oh right. Sorry, I was thinking Maege was Jorah sisters. Not Jeors.
Their names are very similar. I actually thought maybe the show had mentioned that possible relationship within the Mormont family. They do change things at times, just to simplify, I suppose.
Arya oogles Gendry in Season 2. That's about it. After the dagger throwing it seems like she wants him to know she's not a child.
Her questions about the Red Woman almost remind me of book Arya/Gendry and the ringing of the bells.
There did seem to be a jealousy vibe going on with the questions. How many others? How many times? Drilling him on his previous experience. This episode was heavy on the flirting and mating rituals from Arya, but nothing stuck out to me from Episode 1. Now that I am thinking about it, it also reminded me a bit about the book passage where Lyanna apparently questioned Ned about Robert's other women.
Not quoting, but the whole thing about Cersei grooming Sansa is important here, because it is not like Sansa could suddenly just forget all that.
Hmmm! What are the odds that Dany is taken out of the picture and it comes down to Sansa in the north and Cersei in the south, fighting over territory? Would Jon get in the middle of that fight? Or would he just walk away? Perhaps he and Dany will both be dead by this time?
Then, a bunch of times the safety of the crypts of winterfell are mentioned.
Just based on the subtleness of the hints, there is no doubt some crazy "not safe" shit is going to go down in the crypts! doom-doom-doom
i also believe those scars came from ripping open the stab wounds and subsequent stitches after the waif fight, as well as other experiences she's had since everything went to hell in a handbasket for her...
The placement just felt incorrect. Those scares looked like they were on her side, above her hip and around toward her back, but the stabbing was directly in the middle of her abdomen, front and center. So, is that a hint that Arya really isn't Arya anymore? Or just a little inconsistency that doesn't mean anything except no one in the scar department rewatched the Arya/Waif scene when they placed the scars?
There is this theory floating around on Reddit that the little girl is actually Mel
A glimmer of this did cross my mind, mostly because of the burns on the girls face. It's a combination of Shireen and Mel, and Mel has mentioned several times that "fire is the purest death" so perhaps she knows from personal experience. Of course, her true appearance is probably that hold naked woman, but maybe the young girl with the burns is another snap shot of Mel's life. I could see the show going with this idea, and it means that Davos actually invited Mel into the crypts.
