In Greek mythology, Asteria or Asterie (/əˈstɪəriə/; Ancient Greek: Ἀστερία, lit. 'of the stars, starry one') was a daughter of the Titans Coeus (Polus) and Phoebe and the sister of Leto. According to Hesiod, by the Titan Perses she had a daughter, Hecate, goddess of witchcraft.
Asteria was an inhabitant of Olympus, and like her sister Leto was beloved by Zeus. In order to escape the amorous advances of the god, who in the form of an eagle pursued her, she transformed herself into a quail (ortux) and flung herself into the Aegean Sea. It was there that Asteria metamorphosed into the island Asteria (the island which had fallen from heaven like a star) or the "quail island" Ortygia. This then became identified with the island of Delos, which was the only place on earth to give refuge to the fugitive Leto when, pregnant with Zeus's children, she was pursued by vengeful Hera. According to Hyginus, Leto was borne by the north wind Boreas at the command of Zeus to the floating island, at the time when Python was pursuing her, and there clinging to an olive, she gave birth to Apollo and Artemis. On the island of Delos Asteria married Perses and gave birth to their child Hecate.
In Greek mythology, Leto /ˈliːtoʊ/ (Greek: Λητώ Lētṓ; Λατώ, Lātṓ in Doric Greek) is the daughter of the Titans Coeus and Phoebe, the sister of Asteria. She is the mother of Apollo and Artemis.
The island of Kos is claimed to be her birthplace. However, Diodorus, in 2.47 states clearly that Leto was born in Hyperborea and not in Kos. In the Olympian scheme, Zeus is the father of her twins, Apollo and Artemis, which Leto conceived after her hidden beauty accidentally caught the eye of Zeus. Classical Greek myths record little about Leto other than her pregnancy and search for a place where she could give birth to Apollo and Artemis, since Hera in her jealousy caused all lands to shun her. She eventually found an island that was not attached to the ocean floor, therefore it was not considered land and she could give birth. Once Apollo and Artemis are grown, Leto withdraws, to remain a dim and benevolent matronly figure upon Olympus, her part already played. In Roman mythology, Leto's Roman equivalent is Latona, a Latinization of her name, influenced by Etruscan Letun.

Asteria is the starry figure, while Leto is related to lethe(oblivion) and lotus(flower that cause oblivion), here we can tie them to Ashara and Lyanna. They are both persuaded by Zeus, but only one gives birth to Zeus' children, Leto gives birth to twins, Apollo and Artemis, while Asteria marries Perses and gives birth to Hecate, this figure also appears as a trio of women, three headed dragon maybe, the name Perses is link to the verb "to destroy" - while Zeus has a part he plays in both stories, there is also Typhon, a serpentine monster, whom Zeus defeated with thunderbolts. And in a rare account where Zeus is father of Heracles with Asteria, Heracles is killed by Typhon. While Leto and Typhon are linked when Typhon tries to kill Olympus Deities and they transform into animals to run away. Apollo became a hawk, Hermes an ibis, Ares a fish, Artemis a cat, Dionysus a goat, Heracles a fawn, Hephaestus an ox, and Leto a mouse.
Now, Typhon is an interesting figure, he is a child of Gaia, a monster, but he is also child of Hera in some accounts and tied to Hephaestus, a Smith.
So, what are the ties to Asoiaf with these Greek myths?
The most obvious are Asteria = Ashara, Leto = Lyanna, Zeus = Robert, Perses?, Typhon = Azor Ahai, serpentine smith, Hecate = Daenerys, and the twins of Leta are Jon and Meera?
