Anyone watch or check the results? Got got outstanding drama. I was kind of disappointed mad men hadn't won more.

Was that tonight too? For the love! Why is it that everything happens at the same time? Couldn't even watch the Steelers game today. At least I saw that they won. YEAH! Although I did spend plenty of time watching the local 8-9 year olds play. At least they have a great team. They're 4-0 (5-0 if you count the preseason scrimmage.) I swear, the one little boy we'll be watching in the NFL some day! However, as this is currently the only age group in the youth FB program doing so well, it figures that would be the one they have the second grade girls cheering for. It's going to be a long season!
Why must I always be the isle of crazy alone in an ocean of sensibility? The should to everybody else’s shouldn’t? The I-will to their better-nots?
So is this going to be remembered as the best season of GoT? Good lord of light
I'm waiting for GRRM to comment on them. He did a quick Not A Blog post saying he liked the look of all the Emmys sitting in his room, but he wasn't yet prepared to comment on them fully. I'm assuming he's waiting to figure out a way to put it lightly that he's happy that Game of Thrones is succeeding so much, but that it's no longer his story and he's not happy about that part.
Kind of puts him in an awkward place though where he kind of has to decided where his interests lie. He says to he wants to tell ASOIAF his way. But he's also repeatedly said that he publishes books to make money and wouldn't be writing books if there were no money in it. GOT isn't his story anymore as it's changed too much, but it's flowing with cash. So he might be forced to think about whether he cares more about writing the story he always intended, or writing the story that GOT is showing is popular (even if season 5 sucked)
Your lordship lost a son at the Red Wedding. I lost four upon the Blackwater. And why? Because the Lannisters stole the throne. Go to King’s Landing and look on Tommen with your own eyes, if you doubt me. A blind man could see it. What does Stannis offer you? Vengeance. Vengeance for my sons and yours, for your husbands and your fathers and your brothers. Vengeance for your murdered lord, your murdered king, your butchered princes. Vengeance!

or he's waiting to write a diatribe on it on a(mother) day he would prefer to dick around than write his next book.
but yes, that too.

If he'd never wrote about Puppygate, ASOIAF would be done by now

The last season of Mad Men was definitely better than Season 5 of GoT. I'm not unbiased on the show vs book debate of course, but some of my non-reader friends even thought the theatrics of the Sand Snakes were laughable.
