Just started reading Physics of the Impossible by Michio Kaku; it's really cool so far if you're into sci-fi...
...yeah, I'll have to return to storm of swords later:
“Never forget what you are, for surely the world will not. Make it your strength. Then it can never be your weakness. Armour yourself in it, and it will never be used to hurt you.” ― George R.R. Martin, A Game of Thrones
Basically, he takes ideas from things like StarvTrek and Back to the Future, and analyzes them to explain whether some of the things (like time machines, for example) are just sci-fi, or potentially attainable in future technologies. I just started it, but I can elaborate more later. I thought the sci-fi crowd here might find it interesting. I try to read a little non-fiction once in awhile to keep my noodle working. Ideally, I'll switch back and forth between fiction and non-fiction, or I did when I worked at B&N, but I've been slacking. I guess with my reading in general, so I need to rectify that.
I figure there's no rush finishing Storm, anyway, as I've been following karsa's updates, and it doesn't look like I have to worry about a strict time schedule to complete my reread before WoW.
