So I've been thinking for some time of starting a Board-sponsored rewatch of GOT in preparation of Season Six. I belong to another forum devoted to Jane Austen which has scheduled re-reads of Austen's novels that its users can participate in, and I thought something rather similar could be done for here, only about Game of Thrones episodes.
However, Game of Thrones is but a month away, and there's now a whopping fifty episodes to view. So I've decided that in order to squeeze that number of episodes into one month, the rewatch schedule is going to have two episodes a night to watch.
As such, I am pleased to announce the arrival of "The Night's Watch", where each night we shall endeavor to watch Game of Thrones, and talk about it. Now, I'll be leading this little endeavor, but I invite everyone to comment when they can, if they can't set aside two hours a night to Game of Thrones between now and April. Don't feel that just because you might get left behind that you too can't participate. If you jump ahead of the rewatch schedule, all I ask is that you type up your thoughts, save them, and post them when the rewatch reaches that episode.
I imagine there'll be many things to discuss and many great observations in the coming month as we all, as a community, sit down to re-watch Game of Thrones together, as a community.

I was thinking that starting at Midnight on the scheduled day of the "rewatch" you can start posting and talking about the episode in that Episode's thread, and any time during the day you watch the episodes you can drop on in and talk about it in those threads. This way people have the entire day to come in and talk about the episode and the entire day to rewatch two episodes at their leisure, and there's no pressure to have everyone watch at X time.
