That would be ironic and funny.I did go with "R"+ L= J as the topic header but i tried to give the R a pair of horns to differentiate.I don't know i think it works if yuh squint.
Oh, is it here? I'll go check it out...
This R certainly needs horns. Well...antlers. But he was also a horny SOB, so yeah. All applicable. Turns out you were an RLJer all along wolfmaid!

Agree that it could be loss of child--either because child died or because she died. But am intrigued by the connection to the wierwoods and even to Mary. The idea of Jon as sacrifice. Especially since the bleeding eyes are in Ned's dream. Jon sent to the Wall. Don't know exactly what Ned promised Lyanna--but maybe that wasn't' part of the deal. Or he thinks it wasn't.
Yes, there's much to think about. Jon joining the Watch certainly could work as sacrifice, especially in light of how it ended... Ned was very much against it, though whether it was due to a promise or just caring for Jon, no way to know so far.
I couldn't find any more weeping weirwoods (the Winterfell one is melancholy and brooding, but I don't think tears are ever mentioned; Riverrun one is also more sad than fierce, but no tears; Bran does wonder during his weirwood vision whether the tree would start crying if he did)

NICE! I'm latching on to this as circumstantial evidence for my Lyanna is alive below the crypts theory.
At the heart of the godswood, the great white weirwood brooded over its reflection in the black pool, its leaves rustling in a chill wind. When it felt Bran watching, it lifted its eyes from the still waters and stared back at him knowingly.
That's Lyanna. And she's calling to Jon, urging him lower and lower into the crypts, past all those hard, cold Kings of Winter. She's not looking so good these days, but she's still his mum.

I'm going to pull those quotes later for you,i had put it together to post on the RLJ thread to indicate its within good reason that Lya got in an altercation and died because well it just was't her day.
That's a good place to do it, just keep in mind this isn't Sable Hall, and the RLJ crowd is welcome here. We'd rather not have SH's version of RLJ threads, or the W's for that matter, but a balanced discussion of strengths and weaknesses for all.

Man, I can't say nothin!
I got a surprise for you... Lady Dyanna really enjoyed it!
type :: RLJ :: like that but without the spaces (Lady Di, I made it caps now)
