Confusing Sirius with Orion I think it was OOTGH that had theorised original Dayne come from the Sword of the Morning Constellation and compared Sirius and SotM constellation, so Gate of Men, God Emperors, Gemstone Emperors who ascend on Stars/descends underwater and Faith statues with Gemstone eyes are all connected and we have Warrior constellation called the Stallion, and Warrior's of Faith is connected to Crystal Swords and bleeding stars etc. About Valyrian shepherds I really wonder what happened to those who stayed as shepherds? When Turkic groups migrated to Anatolia, some clans ended up as dominating others like Kınık and Kayı while other groups like Yörük stayed as konar-göçer people. Aside from physical similarities are there any Essosi groups similar to Valyrians?
Well the Sirius Star seems to be associated with Orion's place in the heavens, even if they are in different constellations. When one rises in the sky, so does the other. There is something that seems to tie them together. A man/hunter and his dog, so mankind and canine companion. That is why I tend to associate them with the Stark's in GRRM's world, but I wonder if there was some type of choice or split, and the Dayne's got the sword while the Stark's got the direwolf/skinchanger connection. Because for some time now, I think there has to be some ancient connection between Stark and Dayne.
As to a group that is physically similar to the Valyrian's, I don't know. We know there are people in Essos that look like the Valyrian's, but those people seem to be attributed to having Valyrian blood. And perhaps they do, just not through the dragon-rider lines!
Well I wonder who is David of our author? After all David of Quran is successor of God on Earth, a ruler, a messanger and a warner, he was also given a holy book, and come from the lineage of Messiah (in Quran David lives after Messiah not before another difference with Bible), so who fits the description?
Well, my gut instinct tells me it's Jon Snow, who could fit. He is probably average in stature, certainly not noted to be tall, although I don't know if he is small either. Jon could be considered "small" in birth because of his bastard status, however as a bastard of a great family, he's still higher born than many others. He has the potential to have several great bloodlines, and he is young. I also think Bran or Arya could fit, but I don't know if it would be a Stark, honestly. Dany is also possible and perhaps Davos, although he might be too old to fit that kind of role. Tyrion, too! I suppose depending on interpretation, many characters have the potential to fit.
