Michelle Fairley really does a great job in this episode as the grief obsessed Catelyn.
And Cersei's additional baby... I don't mind it.
The omission of Catelyn's most damning line to Jon is likely in the best interest for having the show watchers sympathize with her. I really like the scene with her and Ned that's so tender.
I wouldn't mind it but it spawned the theory that the baby lived and its Gendry. Which makes him the legit heir to the throne. Still gives Cersei a very humanizing moment early on.
Darkstar will be the next Vulture King.
Craster has 19 daughters and there are 19 castles on the Wall, coincidence I think not!

Yeah, I remember hearing that--which really built up expectations as to Gendry's purpose in the story and the possible romance between him and Arya. I'm looking forward to seeing Gendry again in Season 6 (I believe the actor says he returns).

Good point. I still thought it was odd that he didn't stand up for Jon. There's a whole lot of grief in that scene. Not really a proper goodbye for them. Cat is still jealous of Jon's mom all of these years later.
This is something that I think the book didn't do--but by Joffrey pushing the wine on her, I think the show might be trying to help imply that Sansa's confusion later on comes from her having a hangover.
Actually, I think that the book does mention Sansa drinking wine with lunch.
Cat says I have prayed to the seven for more than a month, Bran's life is in their hands now. Cersei prays to the mother to keep her child alive. Not pointing out whether or not it is logical to pray to the stranger also to save your kids life, that could work both ways, but wondering if the show is inconsistent with this or if it was a mistake.
I don't know. Every time Cat is shown praying she prays to all seven. Maybe that's why Bran survives?
yeah no byebye for Theon, Sansa and Rickon. I imagined Robb, Theon and Jon to be fast friends.
I'm somewhat surprised at Rickon, but he is young. Even in the books Jon doesn't seem to like Theon much. Think about how he reacted when Theon kicked that deserters head away.
