In this instance I would have added an extra scene where Tyrion and Bronn actually visit the whorehouse and Tyrion takes note of Jeyne--and not recognizing her--picks her and Ros for Joffrey's nameday. Ros steps in and says that Jeyne isn't ready and much too young to pleasure his grace. While Tyrion comments that a girl the King's age might just be the thing for his nephew.
There can be some commentary on how Jeyne still is a virgin and hasn't yet been plucked--with LF making the most of the arrangement and driving up the price for Jeyne's maidenhood. Tyrion and LF haggle, but ultimately Jeyne's maidenhood is sold, with LF and Ros each driving up the price in order to "prepare" Jeyne. LF takes notice of how Ros manages to weasel out of Tyrion a few more gold than he can, thus showing that Ros could be a good #2 to him, possibly.
Ros and Jeyne later have a scene where Jeyne asks why she drove up the price, and Ros explains how this will be the most she'll ever be worth, and how a portion of the money will be hers and hers alone. And how she'll always be taken advantage of unless she learns how to demand her own price and make them pay. Jeyne says she's tired of having little say in her own life--first with being dragged South, then in seeing her family taken from her, and then forced to come here. How she got here by being he good little girl her father always taught her to be, and that she wants to change all that and be the one to decide what happens in her own life, and that she'd like to make them pay (we see her fingering tentatively with a sharp knife). Ros takes this as Jeyne accepting her life as a whore and promises to teach her every trick she knows, while from the look on Jeyne's face it's suggested that Jeyne has her own plans for when she meets the King, as hinted as she slips the knife off the table without Ros noticing.
Jeyne's actual meeting with Joffrey would be delayed for the next episode.
