The most eagerly awaited episode of Game of Thrones ever now has an official title and description.
The April 24 premiere title is: “The Red Woman.”
The extremely brief episode description: “Jon Snow is dead. Daenerys meets a strong man. Cersei sees her daughter again.”
There’s also a season 6 description that’s new: “Following the shocking developments at the conclusion of season five, including Jon Snow’s bloody fate at the hands of Castle Black mutineers, Daenerys’ near-demise at the fighting pits of Meereen, and Cersei’s public humiliation in the streets of King’s Landing, survivors from all parts of Westeros and Essos regroup to press forward, inexorably, towards their uncertain individual fates. Familiar faces will forge new alliances to bolster their strategic chances at survival, while new characters will emerge to challenge the balance of power in the east, west, north and south.”
Episode one will feature Jaime and Cersei reeling from the death of poor Myrcella, and Sansa & Theon on the run from Ramsay's hounds--so they start out together. The only question being how long they stay together.

Alfie Allen talked about this scene actually like two weeks ago. Meant to post it and never did lol, so here's what Alfie has to say about this
“At the beginning of (season) six, you find him running through snowy, freezing forests leading the way with Sansa. They’ve just jumped off the wall of Winterfell and now they’re on the run from Ramsay,” he said. “We got there on the first day at Bainbridge Studios and they’d blanketed this whole area with fake snow. Everywhere, all the trees, it’s all done with this amazing snow.
Allen explained the context of Theon and Sansa’s promotional image. “… We’re running through and we come to a river and Sansa is just too scared basically to get into the river. So I get in. Don’t believe the press shots! It looks like she’s trying to get me out of the river, when I’m actually trying to be the strong one and get her in the river. Makes me look weak. Haha.”
He went on describe the action sequence shown briefly in the trailer.
[Theon] sacrifices himself, because I guess he hasn’t really got much worth or meaning for himself in the world anymore. And so he leads them away – or rather that’s what he’s trying to do. In fact he doesn’t lead them away, because they see Sansa anyway and then Gwendoline Christie turns up as Brienne of Tarth and smashes everyone to shit. Dan Portman’s there – Pod – and then Pod ends up having a fight with this guy and then Theon stabs the guy in the back with the sword. He kills someone for the first time in ages, which must be a gratifying experience.
Your lordship lost a son at the Red Wedding. I lost four upon the Blackwater. And why? Because the Lannisters stole the throne. Go to King’s Landing and look on Tommen with your own eyes, if you doubt me. A blind man could see it. What does Stannis offer you? Vengeance. Vengeance for my sons and yours, for your husbands and your fathers and your brothers. Vengeance for your murdered lord, your murdered king, your butchered princes. Vengeance!
Meant to post this yesterday, but didn't. It looks like Alfie Allen returns to Pyke at 0:57 in the trailer. So I'm guessing that Theon's first kill in ages really does mean a lot to him, and that he regains his manhood. (Sort of...)
"I can see it. You have more of the north in you than your brothers."
We know from the books that Doran Martell can't really walk b/c he has severe gout on his feet and legs; not sure if this was stated in the show too, but obviously he can't walk there, either. I'm wondering when they are going to show this grotesque gout! AFFC was very detailed about this nasty shit, and the show loves showing nasty shit. Seems like only a matter of time before the show actually addresses this - that they didn't show this last season only increases the anticipation.
Not a very relevant topic, but "God is in the details"

So why exactly are Davos and the few loyal followers of Jon guarding his body? If anything, they should want it burned before he can rise as a wight. There has been nothing in the story at the wall so far that should lead to their expecting some sort of resurrection.

My best guess is that they know that since they are friends of Jon, Thorne and company won't trust them.
Edd does say they are going to die so they should take as many as thy can with them.
Which isn't remotely sensible. But. . . who knows?
And I agree--there's been no indication at all that anyone's thinking Jon is alive. Maybe Ghost does, but I don't speak Howl.
All art is at once surface and symbol. Those who go beneath the surface do so at their peril. Those who read the symbol do so at their peril. It is the spectator, and not life, that art really mirrors. Oscar Wilde.
