So in this episide, everyone fails at everything. And while I understand that shows need lows to offset highs...this episode was just depressing. Upside, Lyanna Mormont was cute and fierce.
Thought this episode was pretty solid, liked the scenes with Sansa and Jon and Davos, Tormund was great, as was Wun Wun. Blackfish was the badass we expected, and i liked seeing Bron again (loved him saying, no, don't even say it... so sick of hearing Lanister words lol). QoT ripping into Cersei was priceless, and i enjoyed the Septon and Hound scenes. Thought it was a shame that they got wiped out while Clegane was away, and i wonder where his plate and sword are? did the Septon pawn them for food, or convert them into nails for the sept?
Arya looked like Ned, and i thought her fight with the waif would go differently. i liked how she just tried to get away, and i just don't see how you can be bleeding from the stomach stumbling through town and no one says anything. bunch uncaring so and sos...
Yara and Theon scene was hilarious. i don't see the wisdom in their plan, but oh well, might be interesting.
gave it a 7. was entertained the whole time, but we thought it was a little short when the credits rolled. looks like bastard bowl is set for episode 9, i don't see how they can get to it next episode. will be interesting to see what Sandor does, and i was glad to have him back.
Can't say it was the best episode, but I enjoyed it much more than last week. It was a good setup to expand upon next week. Nice interaction between Jaime, Bronn and the Freys. I really do love the dynamic between them. It was nice to see the Hound again and I think that we're going to see that the septon had a profound effect on him.
Why must I always be the isle of crazy alone in an ocean of sensibility? The should to everybody else’s shouldn’t? The I-will to their better-nots?

Meh. Ian McShane was wasted in a superfluous scenario to bring back Sandor - and it's so good in the books. Couldn't Yara and Theon have had that conversation on the ship? However, has the Queen of Thorns sown a seed in Cercei's mind? "You can't defeat all your enemies by yourself" - Sure?
A 5, mostly for the character building it did. I still hold the opinion that it should have been edited together with the last episode to be an hour and a half in order to make a better episode as some things needed to be spread out better (like the travel time between Bear Island and the other locations that team Stark is traveling to.
