Arya didn't see Sansa flip out, Yoren had her by then.
Sorry DS but that's not accurate. Arya is on the statue of Baelor when Joffrey says "Ser Ilyn, bring me his head", Sansa freaks out and is grabbed by one of the KG, the camera then cuts back to Arya and she is pretty clearly watching the whole thing. Arya then jumps down from the statue and that is when Yoren grabs her.

True statement. Your memory is very good. I just rewatched it so recently otherwise I don't think I'd have remembered this scene.

Really weird. I think they just decided to validate R'hllorism with a third-party athiest. So they've set up a very (non-GRRMesque) real God with an ex machina brand of power, in the Lord of Light. And they are pitting that Lord against a very (non-GRRMesque) absolute evil, in the form of icy vampires.
No nuance. No grey areas. No moral ambiguity.
Dany is good. Jon is good. Things that empower Jon and Dany are good. Their enemies are bad.
I think absence has made the heart grow fonder for GRRM. The Walkers are indeed evil. Their creation is ambiguous and gray, but the Walkers themselves are, we are told, bent on the destruction of all life. Maybe that will change, and we'll learn they just want love, and maybe a Tim Horton's franchise. But until then, I think show world tracks with book world. They were created to kill, and they kill.
And the show deserves some credit, at least, for making Dany a little grayer. Tyrion and Jaime both have expressed some disapproval of her pyromania.

Whoops, I was thinking about Yoren telling her, "you didn't see anything, I made sure of that".

Is there a particular thread/section/whatever devoted to the theory that Bran is the Night King? None that I can tell by a quick glance (currently reading the 'Greenseers are Instruments of Him of Many Faces' thread which may not be it, but interesting and possibly related)
As SlyWren points out above, Bran has become creepy and he was warned about going back into the past. I think this theory is too deep for the show, but the more I think about it, the more sense it makes
I was trying to search voice's old threads re: Bran=NK. I don't think he came up with it, it might've been on Heresy in Westeros, but his old signature I think supported it from Old Nan's stories: "mayhaps his name was Brandon".
so Old Nan may have started the theory back in '96.

To be fair, I fully endorse the theory that Arya has basically gaslit herself about that event and remembers it a bit differently from the way it actually went down.

In real life, that would probably be quite likely. I definitely question some of my memories and blame myself for things I probably don't need to.
I would prefer this to Arya= Jaqen, though. That would be THE WORST.

I was sure I heard his actor was confirmed for this season too, hopefully that was BS.
๐ณ๐ฑ๐ฎ NOOOOOO! I like Jaqen a lot and I would like to see him again, but at the same time you don't need the writers just adding in random stuff. They already finished his part in the show, there is no need to reintroduce with only 8 episodes left (or so) until the series finale

I don't understand. Why would not her version of the events be a put on show for the benefit of anyone who spies on her. I would have liked to think Sansa was IN on it, but I think Arya may just play it by the ear and not trusting her sister to have a genuine reaction if she knows the truth (that it is all a show for Petyr to think there's a growing schism between them).
On the other hand, Bri has been dispensed with as soon as Petyr has mentioned she may intervene in this "tension" between the two Stark sisters. Maybe Sansa being "in" on whatever Arya is cooking and was afraid Bri might actually buy into this sister betrayal and may do harm to Arya. Why else send her away when Petyr clearly wanted her there for Sansa's well being.
What I'm trying to say is that I believe Arya knows her sister is telling the truth, and she probably remembers what actually happened but she has a plan for LF. And this, all of it, is part to outplay LF.

I've had a quick look around and there was a report from last year that he was confirmed for this season but it wasn't official. Can't find anything recent and nothing on IMDB so who knows ?

Didn't they hide Uncle Benjen from IMDB credits too?

"I would rather die than serve the Lannisters" ...literally served THE Lannister. I hope Arya has something up her sleeve and not just piss poor writing.
