Now let me puke. This is a true insult to our intelligence. DD think we are stupid. They think we are so dumm that we will not realise. The whole Winterfell plot scene is complete bullshit. Sam has to tell Bran to "check" the net to find out if Rhaegar married Lyanna! Whaaaat??? And at the same time as we see a forest wedding with fairies and unicorns we see Jon and Dany Sex. It will make 98% of the audience puke. The other 2% will be asleep by that.
Let us pray and hope that HBO was smart enough to fake the 7.7 leaks and give us something..better. It won't be hard to do better.
If they don't show Ghost in this episode then I'm done watching...until season 8.
Amen!!
They are seem to be building towards a potential confrontation between the Starklings and Baelish. If so, I'd LOVE to see Ghost show up and side with the Starklings.
The Dragon and the Wolf. I'm guessing it's a parallel between Jon and Dany, and Rhaegar and Lyanna. Just a guess, but they can't really keep dragging this non-mystery on much longer.
1. No--they can't drag it on. They either have to confirm or admit they've been trolling.
2. When they've used these terms before, it's usually meant conflict between the named. . . parties, no? "Wolf and the Lion," "Bear and the Maiden Fair," "Lion and the Rose," "The Mountain and the Viper."
So, is that just a coincidence, or is there "conflict" revealed/shown between the Dragon and the Wolf?
No idea--but it's directed by the guy who gave us some good moment this season: Hound finding the farmer and burying him; Arya at the Twins; Arya with Lannister soldiers; Sam with Archmaester Ebrose--here's hoping we'll at least get some good acting out of whatever's coming.
All art is at once surface and symbol. Those who go beneath the surface do so at their peril. Those who read the symbol do so at their peril. It is the spectator, and not life, that art really mirrors. Oscar Wilde.
what Lyanna says. Just that we'll hear it. Seems like they all assume it's Aegon. Friki even said during Q&A that Rhaegar was so eager for a son named Aegon that he named both Aegon, just in case.

I guess it's the opposite : 98% will enjoy because they will not realise that Jon is " The Aunt fucker that was promised". Actually, a lot of reddit users find incest very cool. Their typical comeback looks like this "they're targ, they're beautiful, they look like elves, so why do we bother ?". HBO will eventually achieves some kind of incest banalization and celebration. For this, you could get sue in justice in several countries.
For example, there is an ongoing case in Spain : "Telecinco, the network with the highest audience of television in Spain, could be sanctioned by the National Commission on Markets and Competition (CNMC) because in the program 'Change me' incest was promoted when two Brothers announced live that they were a couple and that they wanted to get married."
Are you thinking she'll turn to Euron more fully if
the spoilers about Jaime's leaving her hold true?
Not sure how I'd feel about this. . .
We've already been set-up by the actor to expect that he will be worse than Ramsey. So far he's been as threatening as a lounge lizard. I'm just wondering if D&D will kluge something from the Forsaken Chapter and give Cersei an horrific send-off just for the viewer reaction that it would provoke. If Cersei is pregnant; the general assumption will be that Jaimie's the father. The 'shocking' reveal would be for Euron to be the father... two good hands and all. Then we would be set up for Euron to take out Cersei. Course for all we know, the Night King will take out Cersei.
If people want Jon to ride a Dragon, doesn't it make more sense if it's an ice dragon? Is it confirmed which dragon died or are the fans just running with what they prefer?
Jon is really dead dead. Making a point of him staying under water makes me wonder if he'll finally embrace his warg mode. Saw som talk about the eyes on the sword turning but I'd look at his pupils in that terrible boat scene instead. All black, all dead.

Only thing I can think of is either the Starks and Targaryians during a flashback, or it could be that Dany finds out Jon is a Targaryian and next in line for the throne. Of course, Jon doesn't seem the least bit interested in being King, so he'd probably shrug and tell Dany that she can have it.

You can tell he's actually dead. His wounds never healed. Always felt like he'll die for good before the series has ended.

Son of a gun! THAT is a cool observation. I know Dany has been seeing his chest and those wounds but I thought they left them just so SHE'll see the thing and figure out the Davos's "knife to the heart" was not a figure of speech or something blown out of proportion. But this totally makes more sense than that.
EDIT: I actually like the title of the ep. and I think we'll finally see Rhaegar and Lyanna. It will probably be on a Bran flashback but I doubt Jon will find out yet. Probably next season. I do wish they'd not do the whole tragedy of Jon realizing he's banging his auntie. I think that's where this is going and they'll not be torn apart because Jon has a better claim on the throne than Dany. Because Jon was written as the type to don't give a fuck about being king if it is up to him. So yes, it sounds like my chick lit skills will be coming in handy. Jeez. You think you know a story... until you don't.
They think it is a clever dual meaning, R+L and have the JS+DT emoting boatsex in one episode. Their third egg will be KitN publicly kneeling to DT in the dragonpit (which is what will make Cersei decide to betray them and cause Jamie to split KL with the maid of Tarth), calling back to the king who knelt. i did happen to love Tormund's about face on a king kneeling to save his people, not very free folk, but practical...
next season we get to see Tormund steal Bri from Jamie (if the rest is speculative fan fiction, why not mine?)
Actually, we don't "know" this. The original spoilers don't say
what Lyanna says. Just that we'll hear it. Seems like they all assume it's Aegon. Friki even said during Q&A that Rhaegar was so eager for a son named Aegon that he named both Aegon, just in case.
That seems. . . . unlikely. Even for the show.
I thought there were spoilers out there that his real name was...
Jaehaerys Targaryian? That name seemed to be all the rage not too long ago. I would hate it because then we would have Dany and Harry for nicknames. Dany isn't bad but Harry is horrible.
