I like the audiobooks more than reading lately, and I can't write in the margins anymore.
Me too, though I already mentioned to you how it was to listen to the Jon Ygritte chapters....that voice Dotrice makes for Ygritte at critical moments is so ::: and awkward at times, too. The Arya chapters in Storm are addictive. I cheated a couple times and skipped to the next Arya instead of sticking to the chronological order.

LOL I know!
Another part that is funny to me is the accent he gives Rhaegar in the HotU, as it's the one normally reserved for Mance. Mance=Rhaegar?! ::dramatic::

Davos sounds like a pirate...now I'll have to listen to HotU again, I can't remember how Rhaegar sounded, but Arstan sounded like Jorah in the chapter where Dany buys the Unsullied, so I think he just forgets sometimes. There are a lot of different voices.
*Shae and "my giant of Lannister" is pretty funny, too.

Mojo, I really am going to have to consider actually plopping the money down to purchase the audio books. They keep deleting the ones people put on YouTube.
Why must I always be the isle of crazy alone in an ocean of sensibility? The should to everybody else’s shouldn’t? The I-will to their better-nots?

It's cheaper to get a Scibd membership. The first two weeks were free, then maybe $8-9 a month, but unlimited audio access. I'm listening now bc of my ADD, but I was going to cancel when I was done with the reread, as I like to listen while I read the actual book.

So I started a Skagos thread sometime in 2012, and while I know deep down in my heart of hearts, it's been deleted, every once in awhile, I still search the Internet, and try to find my lost work no luck tonight, either, except I learned what a terrible memory I truly have:
I asked over in SH about the Northern Conspiracy once, Direwolf Blitzer and I think markg171 paraphrased and/or redirected me to PJ's video. However, in the Great Northern Conspiracy thread over on Westeros, I was an active participant, and left some meaty posts about my thoughts on Lady Dustin, Mance, the Boltons back in 2012. I was really into it, posting while I was at work and stuff!!
Not only that, but I DID finish a Feast/ADWD reread that same year! So this is actually my 5th reread of AGOT-FEAST, 3rd of Dance if I make it that far.
I suppose I shouldn't be bragging about that, but I was reading those conspiracy posts and felt really proud of that fantasy nerd from 3 years ago! Drawing parallels between the Bastard of Bolton and William Hamleigh, the uber villain in pillars of the earth.
And then you have people who read the series once, years ago, but can recite any quote from memory. Just goes to show: bragging rights about number of rereads really doesn't mean anything.
