(Retellings of the Best-Selling A Song of Fame and Money Fantasy Series)
Comparing GRRM's history of Wild Cards publications with his ASOIAF publications.
While familiarizing myself with the Wild Cards saga, I realized that Martin has only just begun to do to ASOIAF readers what he has already done to Wild Cards readers. Namely, take breaks in writing to write another series, and, reuse and repackage material.
Key:
Black = original Wild Cards material
Blue = original ASOIAF material
Red = reused/reissued/recycled material of either Wild Cards or ASOIAF
Green = $$$ = HBO's Game of Thrones (LOL)
Wild Cards titles are given whole numbers, ASOIAF titles are given decimals.
