This would work and I could see the show going this direction. Different son, different daughter. Their connection has been on display time and time again in the show, and I don't think Sansa is even aware Gendry exists, although, since she is the smartest person in Westeros, she must be aware of who is forging obsidian in her forge. Can you forge glass? Hhmmm! You certainly can't shape it with a hammer but it can be poured, I guess. But how does edging it work? Okay. I'm going to stop now.
Their father understood as well. "You want no pup for yourself, Jon?" he asked softly.
The worst part was that I had actually gotten past knitting the first 5 rows and reaching the impressive length 17 inches or so. Only to find that I lacked almost 3 inches in diameter...
And those balls of yarn when you're done... Sigh! But the best way I've found so far to make it ready for another try, is to wind the kinked yarn into a hank, and then soak it in luke warm water. It straightens out in seconds! Then let it dry and wind into a ball! Yes, I've tried several methods before. Worst was with a lace weight yarn, which is really really thin, and so the amount is never ending in a large project!
"Arya did not dare take a bath, even though she smelled as bad as Yoren by now, all sour and stinky. Some of the creatures living in her clothes had come all the way from Flea Bottom with her; it didn’t seem right to drown them."
Near the end of the credit's, there was another thing that stood out. I have a picture on my phone, but it appears to be four dragons. One large one, three small ones, and then what appears to be a dragon head attached to a shooting star or comet tail. This image looks to me like there are either wolves or stags in the shadow on the ground. I can't find an image on the internet (which honestly surprises me, so I might need to figure out how to post from my phone.
Wow did not notice the four dragons, you are right. What did strike me was the comet, hope that whole thing is explained. Whoever was associated with the comet has ended up dying (Ned, Robb, Joffrey, Stannis, Joer) except Dany and Theon. Hope it comes back again.
Omg looked at the titles, there are lots of tiny details in the icons next to the names of the cast members. Onion Knight has a ship with an onion sail, Missandei has a butterfly from Naath, Varys has a spider, Ser Bronn of Blackwater gets an arrow, and Tormund has a bear paw. There also other nice sigils for the rest of the crew.
Anyway, here is the best version of that frame that I could screencap. My colleague thinks it represents Dany, as she is the large "mother of dragons". Also the comet in the same frame shows that it does represent Dragons. If that is the case, then Theon has to die

You might be right about it representing Dany as the mother and her three dragon babies. But why the comet with a dragon head? I bet LmL is pissing himself right now about that! In the books, I actually expect a 4th dragon that the world has never seen, but I guess one could argue that Dany is that dragon (or another human and Dany is the red herring).
Any thoughts on the animal that is in the shadow's, not in gold but in dark relief near the bottom? The body looks like a wolf to me, but now I am wondering if it's horses, although the head and tails don't look right for horses. But that would fit Dany's theme along with the horse lords of the Dothraki Sea!
I still think that Ned's death was part of a cosmic sacrifice of blood that allowed the dragons to be born...
Their father understood as well. "You want no pup for yourself, Jon?" he asked softly.
My questions is, does she just take her dragons, or does she take her Unsullied and Dothraki, too? Because the previews show Grey Worm fighting in the battle at Winterfell, I think. And Missandei is there, also. If the Night's King brings poor weather, the dragons might not be able to fly. This would be something that D&D could have taken from the published works, such as F&B.
She could possibly take them back to DS so they can regain their strength and then Gendry could run/swim over to let her know they need her help.
Also, I am so irritated that they had Sam, one of the smartest characters, tell Jon he has always been king. Doesn't Sam remember that the Targaryen's lost Robert's Rebellion and they don't hold the throne, therefore any kingship any more? Just little shit like that is so annoying, when the show can't even remember it's own canon.
Samwell Tarly = Cristin Cole. He made him LC, now King. I'm really surprised that Sam was so upset about his dad. I'm also surprised at how Dany told him. She could have said that she offered to pardon him for betraying his liege, the Tyrells, or to take the black but he picked death. That whole "bend the knee" line is driving me up the fn wall.
Bran is the plothole duct tape guy, and a perfect metaphor for the show: an eyeroll in a wheelchair. I prefer my Brans tully-colored and carried by Hodors.
Mojo, DarkSister1001, karsa, I moved a few posts from the Season 8 rumors/spoilers thread over to here for the Episode discussion and a few of yours/mine were included
Also, perhaps that is Robb's body with a direwolf sewed on it, that is hanging from the noose!
Yup. And the lion has a fish in it's mouth.
Almost sounds like we'll get another Dance with the show. I wonder how Jon will take this new knowledge. He's all about protecting his northern ppl. Will he feel obliged to help southerners? Ppl will need proof, not just to word of Sam and "whatever Bran sees". IDK if being a dragonrider is enough. No one has really talked about it in the show so there hasn't been much of a setup for that to be a taletell sign. Plus, the NK has a dragon.
I'm also irritated that there wasn't a scene where Dany meets Ghost. Surely Jon has mentioned having his own GD mythical creature? He's talked about Sansa's beauty apparently.
Maybe this is naive or misguided but I think some important ppl will survive, especially Sam, to sing the song.
The blade was Valyrian steel, spell-forged and dark as smoke. Nothing held an edge like Valyrian steel.
it even seemed like Dany was a real live person for some bits.
I've always disliked her acting when Dany is wearing her "floppy ears". I'm gonna give her a pass from now on after reading about her brain. I commend her for powering through and sticking with the character. I wouldn't have liked a recast.

You can but it's tricky. He's just that good!
