It's more to go on than we have for Lyanna loving Rhaegar, actually.
But yes, back to the Dawn references... We must also factor in that the many, MANY times a "sunrise" is mentioned, or a "rising sun"... that it makes for a nice homophone and metaphor for the "rising Son".
No way to dismiss RLJ entirely in my books--not yet.
2. On the Cat abduction--I keep thinking Marillion is the Rhaegar figure there. Caught up in the mess of an angry family feud
But in that instance--Cat becomes the Aerys figure
I just can't get the Jaime as Rhaegar echo out of my head--the son who gets himself stuck between the crazy family and his sense of honor. Realizing that no matter what the Starks have done, Sansa should be safe. Which would mean sending/taking Lyanna with Arthur to safety. Away from Aerys. . . What better place than Starfall? Rhaegar needs to raise an army in Dorne anyways. . .
guess it could be dismissed as a liminal space thing. But given that there's a battle for the dawn coming up, seeing what characters see/do at dawn seems significant.
I've been wondering if the Martells are a misdirect for the really important people in Dorne--the Daynes.
Jon gave her a sword once, from her father's own forge. I'd like it if Arya did the same for him.
So I'm thinking Tyrion represents the guilty-looking, yet completely innocent (of the accused crime, at least) noblewoman
Very possible. Which brings up another bug in my brain: did Aerys try to force a marriage between Rhaegar and Lyanna--as Tywin did with Sansa and Tyrion? Tyron said yes, Sansa was accused of regicide, and Jaime still tried to help her. So--did Rhaegar say no and Rhaegar and Arthur got her out? Jaime and Tyrion doing a version of Rhaegar and Arthur?
Just how many unanswerable questions can I ask before losing my pass?
I'm assuming Daynes and Arryns aren't lactose intolerant.
