I am really with you on #3. It would explain so much. I think that's a big part of the start in him abusing his powers in order to strengthen them. What better way than to commit multiple abominations at once. This would check off at least three. Incest. Wearing the skin of a human and having sex as the skinchanged "animal."
Exactly. Killing his brothers, his king, seducing/raping his brother's wife, etc. He is guilty of breaking just about every law of men and god's that we've seen.
The blade was Valyrian steel, spell-forged and dark as smoke. Nothing held an edge like Valyrian steel.

A much more innocent version of this is when Bran wants to slip into Hodor's skin to hold Meera.

I agree. And I'm far from certain that this level of innocence will be maintained throughout the story.
Agreed. There's a lot that can and will go down for our Winged Wolf in the next 2 books. IMO having so many chapters of their journey North served 2 purposes, Old Nans stories and slowly showing us a potential dark side of his gifts.

Well, I'm still convinced that the dream he had as he was waking from his coma was meant to parallel him to the Night's King. Bran is part of that whole character archetype, I think. Bran, Night's King, Symeon Star Eyes. All of them Greenseers...
Why must I always be the isle of crazy alone in an ocean of sensibility? The should to everybody else’s shouldn’t? The I-will to their better-nots?

GRRM laid a trap for us and I fell right into it. We learn to love Bran, the sweet boy who's quick to laugh. So I am naively holding out hope for him.

I keep wondering if Symeon was another friendly wight, like Cold hands.
Darkstar will be the next Vulture King.
Craster has 19 daughters and there are 19 castles on the Wall, coincidence I think not!

It's certainly a possibility. That would be a second choice, but the blue eyes make me question that. To me, the sapphire thing almost makes it sound like they may not always have been blue. Blue eyes bring to mind the ww, or at the very least the control of the ww.

Perhaps he was an ambassador like Puddles. Or maybe a spy to see how things were going in the seven kingdoms.

I haven't really focused on Euron yet, other than mentioned in the Benjen-tread. Not much grey in him, though! I'll have a closer look a bit later, it's on my ever-growing list! Read your OP (just that one for now), and interesting connections you bring up!
I will however say this much now. I do NOT think 3EC is a helpfull entity, but targets children in a desperate situation. It then breakes into their third eye by force; a violation and abomination in my mind. I also think 3EC and BR are separate, as ravens and crows are different birds. Of the same family (= both of the Old Powers/using magic etc) but different branches (= different goals/intentions). Reading Brans chapter when they find the cave, we also read this:
Leaf: "[...] He is waiting for you." Meera: " The three-eyed crow?" Leaf: "The greenseer."
"Are you the three-eyed crow?" Bran heard himself say. <snip> "A … crow?" The pale lord's voice was dry.
Notice how Leaf avoids saying "No" before "greenseer", but doesn't say he is 3EC either. BR seems to have no idea of what Bran is talkning about.
P.S. Sorry if anyone else has pointed to this already; as stated I haven't read the whole thread yet, but couldn't resist putting in my own 2 coppers at the fly!
I started working on this last year and finally got it up in March on another site. I was encouraged to share it here with you fine folks. I believe that the recent Balticon reading adds credence to this theory.
TLDR: Euron is a skinchanger and was contacted by the Three-Eyed-Crow, like Bran. He tried, perhaps successfully, to enter the mind of his brother Aeron Damphair scarring him for life.
Hey, I read this and really think you are onto something. Something I found in the take home is a theme of the idea of Euron being associated with poison in a sense which I think transcends more than just his gifts, but also obviously his character as a whole. If he has warged the dusky woman which I think he did, why wouldn't he toy with his brothers as you have put forth? When Euron asks Aeron if he was praying to be passed by or chosen, that might mean he was truly curious. Which is worse.. to be raped physically by your brother or to be raped mentally and victimize others. Both are horrific and seem to fit this same character who would cut the tongue out and sacrifice a woman who was carrying his own child...this is a seriously sick and horrific character. Bravo on capturing this!

Thanks! Have you read the Balticon chapter yet? If not, I won't spoil it.
