As I have all but completely abandoned my own thread, AND all but completely forgotten all the lightbulb moments that caused me to start it in the first place, no offense whatsoever. Fire at will!
And your bacon is looking mighty fine!
We'll just keep the thread warm until you want it back.

Did Dany die? I think she was momentarily dead. That's when the corrupted blue heart began to take over.
OOOOHHH! I missed that! It does go: Dany's heart beats with the blue one:
Her own heart was beating in unison to the one that floated before her, blue and corrupt
Then she gets lost in another swirl of visions.
Then she comes to herself as they try to nibble on her (eurgh!)
Also, she eats the stallion's heart to make her boy strong, yes? So, by entering the House, has she innately made her heart "blue and corrupt?" Did this happen before in the tent? She does say that Jorah, right after the tent looks "touched by shadow"--but she was there, too. So, is the blue heart her state? Just temporary?
Her voice was no more than a whisper, almost as faint as theirs. What was happening to her? "I don't understand," she said, more loudly. Why was it so hard to talk here? "Help me. Show me.
By embracing prophecy, has she lost her own voice? A metaphor for Targ and Mel's and others' obsessions? You lose your own voice. Heart beats in unison with a collective corrupt heart?
Rubies flew like drops of blood from the chest of a dying prince, and he sank to his knees in the water and with his last breath murmured a woman's name. . . . mother of dragons, daughter of death . . .
Interesting juxtaposition--had always assumed "daughter of death" meant Rhaella's daughter. Killing mother in childbirth. But the image is after Rhaegar--her father? Or is she his heir. . the heir of death?
Glowing like sunset, a red sword was raised in the hand of a blue-eyed king who cast no shadow.
Sunset--NOT the Sword of the Morning. . . . Not the Dawn.

What's up with the "indigo"? Color from the shade of the evening? Reference to Rhaegar's eyes? Martin betraying he's a fanboy of the Indigo Girls?
